Sunset Sail aboard the Schooners Adirondack

My boyfriend and I decided to book this sail to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. It was a sold out boat but did not feel crowded one bit. We had excellent seats, but there really isn't a bad spot on the entire boat. They offered more than just champagne, and were extremely generous with the amount given. I really liked the fact that it wasn't a guided tour, so we were able to sit back and take in the sights on a beautiful evening (although extremely hot, the wind on the water made it perfect). It really was a perfect experience and I HIGHLY recommend this to any couples, or even small groups looking to do something fun, relaxing, and different for a few hours.

WE SAILED ON THE ADIRONDACK III AND WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE CAPTAINS ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND SAFETY. WE WERE ALL ADMIRING THE BEAUTIFUL SCENERY AND TAKING PICTURES OF THE STATUE OF LIBERTY. WHEN THE CAPTAIN ASKED IF ANYONE OBJECTED TO HIM RETURNING TO THE DOCK 15 MINUTES EARLY AS THE WEATHER WAS GETTING OMINOUS, A FACT NONE OF US PASSENGERS HAD NOTICED. AS WE DISEMBARKED SAFELY THE LIGHTENING AND THUNDER STARTED. IF WE HAD REMAINED FOR THE FULL DURATION OF THE CRUISE WE WOULD HAVE BEEN CAUGHT IN A THUNDERSTORM THATWAS UNPREDICTED. WE WISH TO COMPLEMENT THE CAPTAIN AND HIS CREW FOR GETTING US BACK SAFELY. RONALD ALLEN

Even though it was a hot evening, the crew was pleasant and friendly and made the trip really enjoyable. We sat right next to the captain and asked tons of questions that he was happy to answer. We had to head in a bit early because of a coming storm, but I'd rather be safe than stuck on the Hudson during a thunderstorm! I definitely recommend it for tourists and NYC residents. Wish we had packed a picnic though!

Cruise was super relaxing - staff was great and the views were incredible! Would highly recommend for a date or a larger group.

Had a great time with friends, seeing the city from out on the water in a more intimate setting vs. the larger tour boats. Crew was very friendly.

The views of the city, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the moonlit sky... were all phenomenal! It was a wonderful, romantic sail. I'd recommend it to anyone. And it was a great value for the price!

I really liked this boat cruise the crew & captain where very nice & friendly, it was very nice and the drinks where pretty good, it's a very grown up romantic atmosphere. Would diffently recommend.

I took my husband for his 30th birthday. He had never been sailing before. We had a wonderful time.
