It's a good size boat. You get to see much of the harbor from a unique vantage point. We had a top 10 night in terms of weather. The crew was helpful and entertaining. |

I purchased tickets for my girlfriends birthday and after a full day (hot and in the mid 90s) this was an excellent way to end the day and cool down. Only a few blocks from the subway so getting there was no problem. The boat is beautiful and when the sails are up catching the wind, it feels so peaceful gliding along the Hudson. I would definitely recommend this to anyone of my family, friends and people I just met. Bring some food or eat before hand because no food is served on the ship; however, my date and I sampled the local butternut and fire island brews and they were fantastic. Thanks to the captain and the crew for a wonderful sunset cruise. |

Probably the best thing I did in New York all weekend. The wind was up and we had an unbelievable sunset...and three rounds of beer doesn't hurt! :) Captain Julian and his crew took wonderful care of us! |

Much to my surprise, the sails went up and the engine went off as soon as we'd backed out of the slip. We then had a quiet but invigorating, gorgeous trip down the Hudson and down below the Statue of Liberty. It wouldn't have been as much fun if the wind had been weaker.
Captain and crew were great the entire time. |

Definitely recommended for couples, especially ones who are local to NYC and would like to try something cool, but not too touristy. Sit in Front, Port side if looking to take some good pictures...got some great shots of Statue of Liberty with sun setting directly behind it. |

We loved the sail. Beautiful sunset ride, warm night, funny and charismatic captiain, friendly crew, great company, nice conversation with the other passengers. My only suggestion is that the captain refrain from allowing others to steer the boat. I understand it's cute for photos, etc., but it was making some people on the boat (including myself) very nervous and uncomfortable. Other than that, great experience! |

A few of my girl friends and I went on the sunset sail for my birthday. The Captain and Crew (Christopher and Shane) were friendly, attentive and amusing. One of my friends does not swim and one gets sea sick.... but like good friends they braved it for me :) On the way out the boat was tipped toward one side and they were a little scared (but no one got sick) and we all LOVED it! I would recommend this to anyone who asked. Thanks for making my birthday exciting! We ALL plan on going again.
