| The weather was perfect, the crew fun and accomodating. Gliding past the Statue of Liberty in a wooden ship under the power of wind gave us goosebumps and provided a long-lasting memory. I would recommend this experience to anyone who has guests coming to New York and to those who live here and somethimes forget what a beauiful city it really is. |

| we had a wonderful night out, watching the manhattan sky line in a way we have never seen it before.
the crew were cheerful and informative - no matter how silly the question.
too chicken to try to sail the boat but perhaps next time !!! |

| My mother was visiting from Boston and equally enjoyed the trip. The crew was wonderful, not only were they attentive but entertaining as well. I live in the city and plan to take a trip once a month. It's great to be back on the water!!!! Highly recommend whether local or visiting. |

I gave this trip to my husband as an anniversary present. He is a long time sailor. So I knew the Adirondack being a sailing ship would appeal to him a great deal. It was definitely a great choice.
The day we went was perfect weather. It was a sunny, warm day without too much wind. Enough wind to make for a pleasant ride. Though I strongly suggest bringing a jacket as even with only low wind, it got chilly enough that a jacket was a must.
The staff was extremely friendly. We sat near the back of the boat where the captain was located. He and my husband discussed sailing during part of the trip. Though the captain was also great about giving me and my husband time together.
The Adirondack was at full capacity, so it wasn't intimate. But it was romantic none the less. It was a beautiful way to spend the evening.
Seeing the skyline from the water was lovely. We went down by the Statue of Liberty. It was beautiful to see it late in the day with a great glow.
All in all, it was a terrific trip. It was great to relax and enjoy Manhattan from a distance. The vessel is beautiful. I think we will have to go back again in the future. It was too wonderful not to enjoy it again.

| We went on the first sail of the season - and the boat was very busy - but our group of 7 still managed to all sit together and enjoy the peaceful and powerful experience of sailing without motors.Make sure you wear enough warm clothes ,the temperature really drops when the sun goes down ! |

| We booked a trip for our anniversary. We called ahead on our way out the door to clarify directions and the man said that the cruise had been cancelled for awhile now. He said that it was because another group had cancelled. We were very upset (given it was our anniversary). Thank you, Ashley Newberry |
