Sunset Sail aboard the Schooners Adirondack

This was our second time on the sail, once at sunset and once for midnight. Both have their advantages. Sunset is great because you can truly sightsee in the daylight, yet the temperatures are cooling off and the sunset is usually great. The midnight cruise is very romantic, more time spent enjoying your company with the city as a backdrop. Either way, the view of Manhattan from the water is priceless. And considering the ticket price includes several drinks (up to 3), it is one of the best values around!

Crew was prompt, entertaining, and courtious. Great trip I would reccoment it to everyone.

Everyone on board was friendly and helpful. They seemed to enjoy it as much as the passengers. Plenty of opportunity to see NY Harbor and take lots of pictures.

I got tickets for the boat as a surprise for my fiance's 30th birthday dinner. He loves the water so it sounded like the perfect surprise instead of hte usual restaurants. We were not let down. The crew was great, the sail was relaxing - it was money well spent. I packed a picnic dinner and we tok a ton of skyline pictures. Highly recommended - even if you're a local.

The crew were friendly, entertaining and courteous. The weather was perfect. The sunset and views were amazing. It made for a spectacular start to the date.

The entire experience was superb. The staff was very accomodating, nice and very personable. My husband and I are seriously considering redoing the entire trip all over again.

Our sunset sail aboard the Adirondack III was everything I hoped it would be: fun, relaxing and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the scenery gorgeous... I had family visiting from France, they loved this, especially when the motor was turned off and we sailed quietly towards the Statue of Liberty... I highly recommend this outing, it is really worth it.

Captain Andrew was fantastically funny and helpful, and our crewman Yuri and Christopher were awesome. We had a really great time and would very likely do this again the next time we're in New York, or in the Florida Keys. Thanks again.

My friends and I went on the sunset cruise aboard the adirondack III on a saturday evening. we were celebrating one of the friend's upcoming marriage. Ironically, we witnessed a marriage proposal on our cruise. I would say this cruise is good for a romantic date or just a fun start to a night out for a group of friends. Our glasses were refilled regularly and it didn't seem toursity at all (I'm a local nyc resident). The staff was outstanding and didn't yammer on about useless nyc knowledge. A very relaxing and fun evening!
