Sunset Sail aboard the Schooners Adirondack

This is a wonderful way to spend a very special, memorable evening with friends. The staff is friendly but not intrusive. The scenery is spectacular. I have lived in NYC for 37 years and still got a thrill seeing the skyline from the Hudson River. Especially beautiful were the sunset's reflection off the glass buildings of the financial district and the silhouettes of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty's against the orange sky. This experience is so much better than spending an evening at an expensive restaurant.

This experience far exceeded any expectations we had. The crew was friendly and the sunset sail was very relaxing. The crew brought around drinks of our choice and there was plenty of space for moving around.

We had such a great time on the sail tour! The staff was courteous and very attentive the entire trip! It was the perfect sunset tour! I would highly recommend this to anyone for a romantic sunset cruise.

A group of 10 of us went on the sunset sail for my sister's bachelorette party. The staff was super nice, and the ride was very relaxing. It gave everyone a chance to catch up and take pictures....a really nice time! Thank you!

My family had a fun evening on the Adirondack. Only thing missing was some type of narration giving us highlights of what we were seeing. We also thought we'd have close up views of the waterfall exhibits, but did not. Otherwise, it was a great sail, and the crew was attentive and hard working.

Our original date was scheduled for a Sunday which turned out to be rainy and windy. They allowed us to reschedule - which I didn't think they would do - for the following Thursday which was beautiful and sunny. We went on the sunset cruise which was fantastic, especially as we had friends from out of town. The NYC skyline was spectacular that time of the day. You get three huge glasses of wine or champagne or three bottles of beer, of which there was a large selection. I wouldn't say that our crew were particularly friendly or jolly - but competent enough. If you are very susceptible to motion sickness, I would recommend medication. Even on a relatively calm day there was plenty of movement. Really enjoyed the trip. Would recommend it and will go again.

I live here in Manhattan and had taken the tour a few summers ago with some other local friends and had a great time on the water. Thought it would be fun for out of town friends to do as they are in town for labor day wknd. Good times, with Capt Cat, Patrick and i forget the other co-captains name. All were nice and pleasant. Chatty and friendly. Will def come back with friends in the future! Thanks
