| Right after landing at LGA to embark on his first trip to NYC, I hurried my boyfriend to Chelsea Piers to catch the sunset cruise...which was a surprise that I so proudly kept secret for a whole week! He loved it! What a way for him to see the city for the very first time!!!! He fell in love immediately-with the city, not me too soon for that :) Everything about our sail was just amazing....the views were so lovely during the end of summer sunset. And the crew couldn't have been better. They were professional and courteous, and always kept your glass full with their complimentary beer, wine or champagne. I highly recommend this sail! The price is a steal. One of the best deals in the city! Seriously, where else can you have 4-5 rounds, breathtaking views of the city, and a quiet romantic evening for $50 a person?! |

| We really enjoyed sailing the Hudson enjoying the sites.
The weather was beautiful.The Crew was very accomodating.
It was a fun thing to do.
We have been telling our family and friends about it.
It was a gift given to us. We would definitely consider it again
especially when we have guests eager to see NYC |

| After a long time of trying to take our sail during good weather, my girlfriend and I finally decided to just book it. We were nervous at first when the forecast called for thunderstorms and the sail was not rescheduled, but we ended up going anyway. The weather (despite being overcast and threatening) held out and it did not end up raining- as good as we could have hoped for during a New York summer.
The sail turned out to be very enjoyable- the crew members were incredibly friendly and competent and the captain was very personable. They constantly came around offering complimentary drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Though it was not a private sail (there were probably around 30 people on the boat), it was spacious enough so that one could either ignore the crowd or enjoy its company.
My only real criticism of the experience is the no-refund policy and the late notice of whether or not the sail will be cancelled due to bad weather. I do understand that the forecast calls for rain most days of the summer and that it would be impossible to run a business if sails were cancelled for slight rain, but I would have preferred to have the option of getting my money back (although I was very happy we went in the end). I also would have like to see the sunset, but obviously this is something that is entirely out of the crew's hands, and they do warn you on the website that sunset sails may or may not include the sunset.
Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend this sail to anyone looking for a good way to see the city (and is willing to take the chance of maybe getting rained on). |

| I am very, very picky. This was so great, I did a day sail on Sunday, and the sunset cruise on Monday of labor day weekend. That was even more fantastic due to the sunset images as well as great breeze for sailing with no motor. Do it. |
