Wine & Cheese Pairing Classes on Yacht Manhattan

This was a fabulous way to spend an evening! My husband and I had been wanting to try it for quite a while and it exceeded our expectations. The crew ran everything flawlessly and made us very comfortable. Wendy Crispell is certainly a goddess of wine! She really opened our eyes to some new varietals in an unpretentious way. She was very knowledgeable and made us all feel like we could ask questions. There were passengers ranging from casual wine drinkers to experts and I think everyone enjoyed themselves equally. The cheese pairings were spot on. I'm glad that she gave us a handout so that I can try to recreate some of the matchings myself. After the tasting was over we were able to enjoy the views on the deck. We got some great photos of the Statue of Liberty and the NYC skyline. I would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone! We plan on going again and bringing some friends with us.

Got to taste interesting wines, not a stuffy crowd at all, we were a group of 8 girls and had a blast!

I have taken the holiday jazz cruise and was looking forward to the wine tasting cruise, and it did not disappoint. The variety of wine and cheese was impressive and the boat ride is incredibly relaxing. I found the wine expert's intros to each wine interesting, but I had trouble following as the boat got noisy! Overally, the 2-3/4 hours flew by.

Wendy is a terrific wine and food expert who always makes her tastings uniquely informative and great fun. She really knows what she's talking about, and enjoys sharing her love of wine and food with all of us. This must be at least my 5th time signing up for one of her tastings. All my friends came for the first time and want to sign up for another one as soon as possible. The Manhattan is a beautiful, classic 1920 commuter yacht replica that provides a comfortable and scenic cruise every time. Its crew is great, too. I can't recommend this experience highly enough!

I surprised my husband for his 40th birthday with the Classic Harbor Line's Wine Regions of the World Tasting Series Cruise of Manhattan. It was our first wine tasting cruise and first sampling of Greek wines. We both had the best time! We love red wine and were surprised how much we enjoyed each of the wines including the white ones too. The wines and cheeses were exceptional! Wendy was outstanding and the crew was wonderful as well! We loved that there was time in between the tastings to go up on deck and enjoy the breathtaking views! We really liked the 2pm departure. We had a light lunch before we sailed and then indulged on all the wines and cheeses and although not hungry we were able to grab a small bite for dinner afterwards. It was an absolutely perfect day! Thank you so much. We cannot wait to go again!

Knowledgeable and friendly crew!

My husband & I chose this event to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The crew on the boat could not have been nicer, the boat itself was gorgeous & the wine & cheese were just to die for. We had such an enjoyable time, we have told so many others about our wonderful experience. We would absolutely do this again. Also, the weather could not have been nicer & we loved the length of time of two hours & 45 minutes, it was not too short or too long1 It was just right!

I work and live in the tri-state area and had no ideal of this cruise. It was given to me as a birthday gift. I had great time learning about something I love to drink. It was exciting learning about new wines and cheeses to try during this hot summer we are having. Our wine sommelier was pleasant and very knowledgeable. As a matter of fact the entire staff was very pleasant. I will definitely book another trip in the future to explore some other wines.

I booked this cruise as a marketing event for work. The event was a success. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and I will be booking further cruises

Wendy is not only a wealth of knowledge, but easy to talk to. This is my 3rd tasting with her and I have yet to having anything but a fantastic time. The pairing of wine with cheese is always outstanding as well as the history she provides with each. I love the relaxed atmosphere that comes with the whole package! You will not be disappointed with ANY aspect of this great adventure....right down to the beautiful boat and the extremely nice, polite crew that is on board. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice few glasses of wine, cheese to match and a wonderful teacher....all wrapped up in an easy going enviornment and the beautiful skyline of Manhatten. Before the tasting was over we were already talking about making plans to do it again soon!
