Classic Harbor Line

Tour is great, get there early! If you're late, they don't wait. One complaint, after the hefty $50+ per person price tag, they ask for more money at the end (tips.). It's practically mandatory, as they place the tip bucket right at the exit of the boat. Don't think it was a very nice way to leave an impression. If you want tips, then maybe think about lowering the price tag for the ticket? Other than that, a lovely way to enjoy nice weather and the Hudson and east rivers.

Despite the weather (rain & some fog) the tour was the highlight of our New York Trip. The vessel was A1, the speaker was enthusiastic & very knowledgeable; the other staff were friendly & personable. It was very educational. The only downfall?.....The local New Yorkers at the 2 tables behind us who talked amongst themselevs through the entire first half of the cruise, making it difficult to focus on the speaker. Perhaps a brief message at the start of the cruise regarding consideration to fellow patrons should be added. The map/brochure was also of high quality & informative.

Every detail was taken care of. Our group of 10 was celebrating mom's 90 th birthday. As she is an architectural buff, she thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

My husband, daughter and I were looking forward to this tour. The weather was terrible on Sunday, May 21. I do not understand why the boat would go on a tour in the rain. The windows were fogged and you could not see the buildings. The guide kept referring to the buildings in the clouds because he could not see either. On a positive note, I believe it could be a very good tour if the weather had been better. Very disappointing but the tour boat should not go in inclement weather!

We took the sunset cruise with another couple on a damp, drippy, cold evening. The crew quickly made blankets and ponchos available so we could be warm. Even though the weather was not the greatest, Chris and his crew were superb. They promptly served our drinks, answered all our questions, and made the entire trip pleasurable. They turned a potentially miserable experience into a fun and memorable one. We'll definitely be back and sail with them again.

The day was unexpectedly cold and rainy, which put a bit of a damper on our trip. And there wasn't much wind. But we had fun anyways and were glad we went. The trip provides great views of New York and New Jersey. The crew was very nice. (They even provided blankets for the cold and ponchos for the rain.). A bit more information from and interaction with the crew would have been helpful. We would go again on a better day.

Lovely

The tour was relaxing, the boat was enclosed with the option to go outside. They moved the tastings along in a manner to keep the flow of the event but not too long of a wait or rushing the guests. Staff was polite and helpful and the wine tasting guide was helpful and knowledgeable. We went for a bachelorette party and it was a great boat ride spent with friends and tasting new wines!

I would recommend this service / adventure to others.

My family and I had a wonderful time on the sunset cruise. It was so easy to organize and the crew was very friendly and fun. Can't wait for the next sail!!

Great views and way to see the city from the water

Great weather, great boat, great service. Topped the list of the best of our NYC trip. Highly recommended!

What a great way to see all of Manhattan. The commentators were very knowledgable and entertaining. Crew was polite and helpful.

My wife and I both felt that we did not need to know the history of every building. Began to get meaningless. Wouldn't it be better to say for example -- We are coming to the -----bridge, look for this and that detail or other information. Does anyone need specific information on a particular building or area. I just wanted to point out that the excellent information finally became a two hour drone of architects and their buildings that were not that important to me at least, and I would suspect most of the other passengers. Service was nicely done. Thanks for a very organized and excellent trip.
