| Went for a sail with my mom and boyfriend. The crew was very friendly and enthusiastic, and served us complimentary wine which adds to the relaxed mood. The weather was perfect, and the views--probably the best in Manhattan. This is my second time on the boat, and I'd go again! | ||||||

| Loved the cruise itself & would enjoy doing it again. A great experience, even for us NYC natives. Sat outside on deck for entire cruise. Time of day was perfect, weather was perfect. Beautiful sunset on the water. Beautiful views of the two rivers & Statue of Liberty. The excuse for taking the cruise was to see the Waterfalls which turned out to be only mildly interesting. | ||||||

| The weather was great. The crew and skipper were friendly, efficient and professional. There was enough wind to raise sails and shut off the motor. On the negative side, there should be about six less customers aboard. This would allow for a bit more elbow room and for the crew to easily manouver while performing their duties so as not to need a customer to move out of the path. | I am very, very picky. This was so great, I did a day sail on Sunday, and the sunset cruise on Monday of labor day weekend. That was even more fantastic due to the sunset images as well as great breeze for sailing with no motor. Do it. | ||||||

| The sail was fantastic & relaxing!..The weather was perfect so that contributed to the entire experience. The crew were very pleasant & accommodating as well. It was our first time sailing in NY & we will definitely do it again! So much fun!...A GREAT way to spend Labor Day!... | We had a great time, though it wasn't exactly the tour we expected. The crew was enthusiastic and accommodating, but the tour was more of a boat ride than a NYC tour. We were expecting some history of New York and a description of the landmarks we passed but instead weren't given any descriptions throughout the whole ride. We did see many wonderful things, but a history lesson it was not. The drinks were endless which was nice, and the crew was more than willing to strike up a conversation and answer any questions (about sailing, other tours, and new york) but I didn't learn much otherwise. Overall, a great tour, but not what I expected. | ||||||

| I had been wanting to go out for a sail for quite some time and luckily, being spur of the moment, my husband went online to find the Adirondack ready and waiting the day before our sail, which we booked for Labor Day, 2008. The weather on Labor Day was just beautiful, a bit of wind. The boat was full. Our crew was very pleasant. The captain was entertaining and provided a safe ride. We took my parents along who also enjoyed the beautiful scenery and terrific weather. Our mate, Pat was eager to please. He was able to give us some history of the the harbor and the boat and it turns out I have sailed her before in Newport, RI. In fact we visit Newport most summers and sail the Adirondack II sunset cruise. Six years ago we chartered her and the Rum Runner for our wedding which was a huge hit with our guests. We couldn't have enjoyed the sail of the NY Harbor more and will recommend it to our friends. I am sure we will book another sail next season. | My girlfriend and I were looking for something fun to do on labor day morning. We took the brunch cruise around Manhattan. The weather was perfect, so that coupled with the good food, good brunch drinks (mamosa's and bloody mary's) and some other nice people on the very nicely appointed and maintained boat, made it a great early date. Highly recommended for locals and out of towners both. | ||||||

| This was my boyfriend's favorite part of his trip to New York City. The boat was beautiful, the staff friendly, professional and helpful, and the sailing was quiet, romantic and offered gorgeous views of the city. My only wish is that we could've gone farther up to see more of Manhattan. Thanks for a fabulous time! | ||||||
