Great start to our anniversary celebration
Fri, Nov 6  6:30 PM angelala08 Male 70+ Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
We had a great time. The boat was small enough to allow you to meet other people and talk about where they were from and what they were doing on the cruise. The wine stewards description of the wines, the regions they came from and what foods they paired with was very helpful. The cruise itself was enjoyabe and we had a good look at NY at night.

Very nice evening - but very limited food.
Fri, Nov 6  6:30 PM mariannemath Female 50-59 Local Family Without Children
Very nice evening. However, I would recommend having dinner before you set sail. The food was very limited - Total of 5 small appitizers for the entire eveningf (1 small appitizer for each tasting of wine) . When I read the reviews I thought there would be more food and I was starved. And when I asked for a 2nd appitizer the wait staff promptly so NO - one per person only. Even if they had crackers or bread on the table it would have been much better.

Great time!!

I went with a few girlfriends and we had a blast! The wines were wonderful and they had a little food to compliment each one--they did not skimp on the food or wine, either! We saw the Statue of Liberty and went through Brooklyn. Very cool!

Very nice tour

It was a very nice tour, perfect for a date with my wife :-) It departed at the agreed time. The duration of the tour is perfect. I'd only suggest to take the tour to see the new Navy vessel built with the rests of the WTC, which is very close to the pier from where we departed. I think that there is enough time to see this too.

Smooth Sailing!
Sun, Nov 1  3:30 PM veguilfoyle Female 60-69 Local Couple on a Date
Captain was extremely informative and sail mates friendly and helpful. Blankets were available and cushions in the cock pit which made it very comfortable as it got cool on the water at about 5.45 and the sun went away on Nov 1 - it got dark early due to time change. Would definetly recommend. Only suggestion, perhaps someone could point out the areas of Manhatten that people from outside the area would know what they are viewing. Also signage for finding Pier 62!

The processes of booking, boarding, and enjoying this out-door activity were all ultra-smooth. All points of contact with the vendor were professional and helpful. All of the staff who reported on their experience were very enthusiastic and indicated an interest in doing the activity again in the near future. Our employer was very pleased with the outcome of the event. The weather cooperated too! Not to mention...Yankees win! The activity is child-friendly which is good since half of our group was under the age of 18. You will enjoy this activity. We assure you. There were superb opportunities for photographing the Manhattan skyline at twilight. Bring your camera, bring extra-batteries. You will not be disappointed.

Relaxing and Enjoyable Afternoon
Sun, Nov 1  2:30 PM JBuckmaster Male 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
Cruise, boat and crew were excellent. The weather was good and commentary was a useful guide to our surroundings, though a little loud inside for the laid back lounge. The small delicate sandwiches, crackers, farmhouse cheese, nuts and cranberries were fitting for an afternoon tea, along with the cake, tea (the water is hot - there is an electric kettle) and a glass of wine. The size of the boat and only 20 to 25 guests made it easy to move around inside and out. A nice relaxing afternoon.

On the Hudson in the Adirondack
Sun, Nov 1  11:00 AM hjguiles Male 60-69 Local Couple on a Date
The four hour sail up the Hudson was well worth the money. For the same cost as a show or a bus tour, you get a relaxing, quiet look at the Manhattan skyline and NJ Palisades. Plus, drinks (yes, with Rum if you want it) a sandwich and a knowledgeable, friendly crew are included. The trip ran from the 23rd street dock to the GW Bridge. Although we were expecting more mileage, the distance was right for the time, given the wind and current conditions. There seemed to be little space to retreat to if it rained, so be prepared for the prevailing weather conditions [although the web site says the trip would be cancelled if the weather is too inclement]. We sailed on a crisp November day, and it felt like we successfully extended our Summer vacation.

Memorable and Romantic
Sat, Oct 31  8:45 PM rchancellor Female 20-29 International Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
We were originally scheduled for the Sunset Cruise aboard the Adirondack schooner, but our cruise was cancelled due to the heavy rain. They moved us to this cruise (we also had the option of a refund) and it was fantastic! The crew are lovely, their own-brand champagne was delicious and we enjoyed relaxing in the warm and dry interior of the yacht and seeing the beautiful skyline. Mid-way through the cruise, the rain let up and we went out on deck. What romance! The cruise explores the lower half of Manhattan Island, including a great close-up of the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Pier 17 and other sites. The city is lit up beautifully against the dark night sky. I would definitely recommend this experience - the value for your dollar is excellent!

Great time if the weather holds up
Sat, Oct 31  11:00 AM Tonzillo Female 40-49 Local Couple on a Date
We had high expectations for the Fall Foliage Sail. The weather was not perfect - but the crew and passengers made the most of it. If the sun peeked out a bit more we probably would've seen some spectacular foliage. It lasted a little longer then I liked, but that was because we had to sail past the GW bridge, which took quite a while to get to. I'd recommend this trip but only if the weather looks like it will cooperate.

We had a great time on the boat! It was a great way to spend an evening! It was a bit cold, but the warm cider and blankets helped with that! Thanks!

New Way to See the City!!
Fri, Oct 30  1:00 PM Canale3 Female 20-29 Domestic Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
After visiting NYC previously this was a great new alternative to see another side of the city! The weather was great and the views were even better. We were able to see the trees and skyline from the water and got to do a nice sail-by of the Statue of Liberty and take plenty of photos. The staff was very fun and informative-kept the beverages coming (which were great local brews) They gave everyone their space and were there when you had a question. The wind was brisk but no worries because blankets were provided on board. I would definitely recommend this trip for anyone who loves the water and can appreciate nature and just relaxing. ENJOY!!!

It was cold but magical!
Thu, Oct 29  6:00 PM chrisrice Male 40-49 International Tourist(s) Family With Children
My family enjoyed a wonderful and unusual trip around the skyline of Manhattan on the Adirondack. The temperature for the 6pm sailing was cold in late October, but we were well rapped up and provided with blankets and a couple of drinks so that kept us warm. The kids really enjpyed the trip and I can definitely recommend it to families. Be careful, it leaves from Pier 62 on Chelsea Piers, the only Pier not signposted. We nearly missed our sailing as we couldn't find it. The Pier is the northermost one, before you get to Pier 61.
