| The schooner was exactly as described in the website. Eventhough, the weather was perfect for early fall trip, no wind, I suggest to dress in winter clothes. This way you can enjoy walking aroung the boat. The drinks are well served. The crew and captain are friendly and welcoming. Boat left and docked on time. All in all, this is a good 2-hour trip to get away from busy NY street life and see NY city on different perspective. Setback.. no subway close to the pier. Taxi will not take you to this area after 4PM. Make sure to plan an early trip to the pier if you are taking the bus. | ||||||

| Wonderful sunset cruise on maybe the last beautiful day of the year. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our time on the sail and thought the crew was very friendly and helpful. Recommend the hot cider and rum on a cool night; however I was impressed with the variety of drinks on board (and the quick refills). I will remember this sail forever and I'm sure I'll be back in the future. I asked my girlfriend to marry me on the front of the boat and she loved the whole evening. We will definitely be back! | ||||||

Disappointing Sailing Never Left Manhattan

| We enjoyed perfect weather on our trip. Our upstream trip was pleasant although extremely slow. Having been forewarned that the trip upstream was against the current, this was understandable. When we reached the point just beyond the George Washington Bridge. the vessel came to a stop and we drifted for about half and hour. We had been traveling just about two hours. Our captain then turned the vessel around and we headed back. In order to keep us out on the water for the remaining two hours , he than tacked the boat from east to west about ten times until we reached Chelsea Piers again, thus giving us ample views of the Jersey condominiums and Manhattan piers. This was my first trip on the Imagine. It's a splendid boat and you feel wonderful being out in the water on such a vessel. Unfortunately, I got the distinct impression that the captain gives the same speech each time to the groups that he takes out on the river in order to prepare them for a short trip up the river. I was extremely disappointed that he only took us up to the GWB. Perhaps he had to stop there due to low fuel but In my opinion, he should have taken us farther upstream. At least past Manhattan Island instead of only to the GWB and back. The hard working, cordial crew did not compensate for the average lunch. The turkey wraps were soggy and had no condiments except for lettuce. The hot cider was delicious. | ||||||

| It was a beautiful day and the sail was great. 1. The staff was great and friendly 2. Food and beverages were very good Just wished: 1. we had gone a bit further north 2. that the staff had narrated a bit about what we were seeing. | ||||||

| I thought the cruise was very nice and lots of fun. The only negative was that we did not get very far up the Hudson River. We sailed just past the GW bridge and then turned around so we did not get to see much fall foliage nor did we feel like we got out of the city for the day. However, I believe that our cruise was the first one that the company had ever done. I would definately consider doing it at least once more to see if they made the necessary improvements. The crew was friendly, the atmosphere was great, the boat was nice. Overall, it was lovely. | ||||||

| I would never do this again nor would I recommend this to anyone. It was LONG and boring. There were not enough cushions so several people had to sit on the hard cold cabin tops and the crew looked hung over and surly. The beer was gross, like it had been chilled and then left out and chilled again, the crew passed out the lunch and when we asked what kind or wrap it was they replied "I have no idea", so I asked it this the only kind of wrap they had and the reply was "I have no idea". This was a terribly way to spend the day and would never do anything with this company again. | ||||||

| I happened to get great weather, it was sunny and in the 60's so I was more than pleased with the outing. Everything about it was great boat, crew, food and drinks. | ||||||

| We enjoyed it. Only negative is there was only one choice of meal which was turkey wrap, couscous w/raisins and apple or pumpkin pie. One member of our party couldn't eat any of it and went hungry. I had called to ask in advance what lunch was and was told sandwiches, cookies and salads. Suggest in the future that either they advise people there is only a single choice so we are prepared to bring our own snacks or else provide some choice or at least some snacks like pretzels or chips or something. However, crew was great and boat was nice and we enjoyed the ride. Hot apple cider w/rum was nice treat. | ||||||
