Classic Harbor Line

Went on this night time cruise as a gift to my girlfriend's birthday. She thought it was the most beautiful thing shes seen in the city ever. Highly recommend this boat and company; the service was great, the crewmembers very friendly and polite, as well as capable. Couldn't recommend this more to any couple

A very well spent three hours... Perfect size group (25 or so); perfect size boat, and a really knowledgable and pleasant, informative guide. It was great

The cruise was delightful, the lecturer was very well informed. We have lived most of our lives in New York, but found out we could learn so much more about the city by going on this cruise.

The three hour tour was sensational - great lecturer - boat was a classic, spotlessly kept and operated.....,snacks much better than expected - wonderful assortment of fresh fruit, cheeses, cake etc....more than generous.... comfortable number of passengers (only 40) so whether inside boat or outside, we felt very uncrowded..... To see Manhattan this way gives one an ENTIRELY different take on the city - for once you are not IN it with the crowds, traffic, noise, etc. but rather OUTSIDE it and seeing it at it's very best - the views of Wall Street etc. are simply the most dramatic sights one could ever imagine. Highly recommend this trip - especialy with an expert on the archictecture of the city on board.

I took my boyfriend on a birthday sail and we loved it. We're not into the super touristy "tell me everything" tours of the city so this was perfect - they gave us a brief introduction and were happy to answer questions, but we were able to get immersed in our own conversation and the beautiful views along the way. If you're looking for a relaxing afternoon on the water, I'd highly recommend the Schooner Adirondack.

A group of friends were out celebrating a birthday recently on the Adirondack evening cruise. It was a cold October evening, but the crew happily supplied blankets, and we were well bundled as well, so we were prepared for a nice evening out with friends. Although it started out calmly, once the sails went up, the boat took an alarming tilt to one side that had all of us on that side holding on for dear life. We sped along at this angle for what seemed like an eternity. Eventually it tilted the other way, and we were happy to be on top, but when it came back to our side we basically all ended up sitting on the floor to keep from being pitched into the Hudson. Perhaps it was a particularly windy evening, but this was not how I anticipated this evening. It wasn't raining or bad weather, just cold and crisp, so I was very surprised at the way things turned out. I've never sailed before, so maybe this is typical (?), but most of the pictures on the website show smooth sailing and sitting, chatting and drinking. There is one picture where the boat has the look of a 90 degree angle. That would basically be almost our whole cruise!

This was our best NY experience. Absolutely amazing to see the sun set and the lights turned on. The boat was really good and the.service great. Truly recommended!

Beautiful ship, great crew on the Hudson sunset sail. Open Bar was nice as well. They actually had several craft, nicer beers, as opposed to the cheap stuff. Good wine and champagne as well. I'd recommend this to anyone visiting NYC.

Very insightful and relaxing at the same time.

Originally, I was skeptical about this trip, because they cancelled our first choice and rescheduled us. Nonetheless, the trip was very enjoyable without too many people on board. The captain didn't give any sort of guided tour, but knew infinite trivia about the landmarks we passed and was happy to share them. The rest of the staff were kind and helpful as well. Thanks for a great time!

Relaxing way to see the city skyline. Cocktails were included and were served by a very friendly crew. Plus they did not push the tipping thing.

The intrique of the boat is what drew us to this particular cruise. Not many people. PIlot gave only brief explanations, which left more quiet, personal time. Length and sights were great. Left on time and returned same. Good value. My only complaint is that literature states that the times of the cruises vary with the time of sunset, which was also a good selling point. However, ours was scheduled after sun had gone down - I noticed it was scheduled to embark earlier both the day before and after. Highly recommend.

My husband and I loved the Classic Harbor statue cruise. At 90 minutes, it was the perfect amount of time to see beautiful views, the statue of liberty and three bridges. I enjoyed the bits of tour narration and don't feel they were overpowering. The captain and crew were beyond friendly and helpful. The tour was a nice, personal experience. We were not crowded on a tourist type boat and the vessel itself was really beautiful. Who can complain when there is champagne? I would definitely do it again.

My partner and I were looking for a brief (2-3 hour) way to see the Statue of Liberty, without fuss or bother - this cruise was perfect! The boat is clean, attractive, and nicely decorated (for autumn, right now). The crew is polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Not only did we get great views of the Statue, but we also had stunning views of the City Skyline, as well as bridges and other landmarks, with ace narration the whole time (with perfect acoustics - an added treat). There were indoor and outdoor seating options....plenty of opportunities for photos.....free first round of champagne/drinks.....and an altogether lovely way to spend an afternoon. I highly recommend it!

The knowledgeable architect/guide gave a non-stop narration of the dense architectural landscape of Manhattan and boroughs/New Jersey, on both sides of the river tour. Wish it would last longer, with more time to linger over great sights, and to be able to ask more questions before moving on to the next sights. Would easily recommend to locals and visitors. Ready to book the tour for a 2nd round!
