Classic Harbor Line

I took my family and we enjoyed the sail, even though it was a cloudy day. The staff was nice and answered your questions. If you want beer or wine, enjoy. We got close to the Statue of Liberty and had lots of questions about what we saw on both sides of the Hudson. The staff knew all the answers. Overall, a very pleasant and personal experience.

While at first sight the boat seemed too small, it actually was larger than it appeared. The brunch was good. The full trip around the whole island was great and the captain was really good about talking about the sights for those interested ( like my husband) about the construction of the bridges and such. My father-in-law enjoyed the jazz music that was playing. My mom (91yrs. old) felt a little unsteady as the boat is low and a little rocky. Enjoyable.

This was an awesome trip. The captain and crew were wonderful and the ride was beaufitul. Highly recommended.

The captain was super cool. The actual sailing was very romantic. Had a very successful date.

I have taken two sailing trips thus far. July 4th weekend with my husband, three children and 2 grandchildren. After the trip my son described the trip as one of the best family get togethers ever. Grandchildren loved it, my 13 yr grandson wants to take some of his school friends on a trip next year for his birthday. My husband and I recently returned to sail the city lights, it was romantic, peaceful, yet filled with night life. I highly recommend it for those wanting to experience the harbor at night. We took the sunset cruise on the yacht on a Sat. night. Everything was exactly as advertised. The cruise left on time, crew was pleasant and accomodating. It was a great way to see the city first in daylight and then at night. Seeing NYC from the water offers a different perspective than you get from land. Especially nice to see the skyline at night. Magnificent view.

This was my second time doing this, as I loved the first trip a few years back so much. This was such an enjoyable experience once again! Relaxing, exciting, inspiring all at once. Got to see the NYC skyline from such a unique perspective. The crew was fantastic and definately helped us enjoy our time on a beautiful sailboat. Great with friends, family, or a date. I would add this to my list of NYC things to do every time I visit!

The crew was really great! The sailing was so much fun and adventurous! And there was just the right amount of alcohol although we brought our own and one of the crew held it on ice and served us! Everyone in my group was so happy and they all want to do t again!

Took the 6:45 - Adirondack III ( the 2 boats are identical & no opinion on choosing 1 over the other). Try to line up at the area 10 mins before for best option on seating. There were some bigger groups who got all psycho and competitive on trying to secure good seats & block off big sections for their friends who hadn't arrived yet. Up front seemed to have better cushion seats , everywhere else it was hard seats but not bad at all. Crew was nice & jovial along with the captain. Took off a little late but was fine and got out of ny harbor slowly on motor. Pulled up sail once we got down closer to Statue of liberty. Very nice feel of the wind - only negative the sail can block your view ( if you are on other side of statue of liberty you maybe very close but can't see it) , another reason front seats are better & unobstructed view. Took a little while to get everyone drinks, since we were the last to get served, took us a while to get our drinks. would suggest walking by couple of champagne bottles & glasses & pour whoeever wanted champagne ( most popular choice). The views are really nice of new york in the dusk & really need decent weather or it could be an ok experience. They do recommend bringing food but the boat does swing a little & not the easiest thing to do of balancing drinks & some food, so do plan accordingly. Great way to see the city for Tourists & Locals and also some people did end up getting to know each other.

With about 30 people on a sailboat, an amazing crew and Captain, beers that are not cheap watered down crap, and a beautiful city that is New York, this is a must do activity. We had such a great 2 hours and ended up becoming friends with the couple next to us and had dinner with them afterwards. A classic NY moment. I went to the office on Monday recommending everyone to attend this. Wish I could do the Monday night Sushi and Sake!

I've lived in NYC for the past 6 years and am always looking for new fun things to do when my friends from the Midwest visit. This sunset sail is definitely something I want to bring all my visitors on. We didn't feel like we were tourists on another boring tour but yet we got some interesting tidbits about NYC while seeing the amazing view of Manhattan. The staff on the boat really made the event memorable. They were funny, kind and enthusiastic while still making us feel secure/safe.

My wife and I had taken this sunset cruise last summer and recommended it to some friends as a fun activity to do as a group. There were 9 of us and we had a great time. The weather was perfect and the views of the Statue and lower Manhattan made for some great pictures with our friends. The crew was terrific - very professional and very accommodating. We plan on making this an annual outing with our friends. Having done this once as a romantic date with my wife and once as a group outing with friends, I would highly recommend the Sunset Cruise.

Took this sunset sail 2 weekends in a row. The first time my daughter & son-in-law surprised us with the sail and brought along our 3 grandchildren. The captain & crew made us all feel at home. The captain was very good with the children, and our grand daughter quickly forgot she was afraid of "boats". This past weekend I took my partner for her birthday...it was perfect! We got to relax and take in the beauty that is NYC. We will sail again and strongly recommend it to others.

The boat was very well maintained with a not too large crowd. Very nice crew,nice to have a drink included and the hour and a half was for me just the right amt of time.I have already recommended this trip to friends.
