Classic Harbor Line

My girl-friend and I received a gift of 2 tickets to the sail, and we went on it lat week. It was all of the above plus the crew served ample beverages and were very friendly. The other people aboard were very nice to meet and talk to. Nothing compares with the views of Manhattan and New Jersey. The seamanship was excellent. A beautiful way to spend an evening. We are recommending the sail to all our friends. We will also use it as a gift option.

Friendly crew, comfy boat, great drinks/service and wonderful views. A great way to see the sites with an out of town guest without feeling like a tourist!

In the description of the trip, it said this was not a "booze cruise" which automatically disappointed me, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the champagne flowed pretty freely! No one got "wasted" or anything, but definitely enjoyed a sweet buzz as we cruised the harbor. The staff was AWESOME. Super friendly, really knowledgeable and of course very generous with the drinks. My sister, an out-of-towner, said it was her favorite NY experience to date. Overall, for a beautiful 2 hr tour and free beer/wine/champagne, this is one of the best harbor tours the city has.

Good time, quick way to tour parts of NY. Don't wear a skirt/dress that flows. Even on a day where there's very little wind, you'll find yourself spending more time holding down your skirt, then taking photos or enjoying a drink from the bar. Also, if you are pregnant you can substitute your Champagne for Pineapple juice in a flute.

It's a good size boat. You get to see much of the harbor from a unique vantage point. We had a top 10 night in terms of weather. The crew was helpful and entertaining.

I purchased tickets for my girlfriends birthday and after a full day (hot and in the mid 90s) this was an excellent way to end the day and cool down. Only a few blocks from the subway so getting there was no problem. The boat is beautiful and when the sails are up catching the wind, it feels so peaceful gliding along the Hudson. I would definitely recommend this to anyone of my family, friends and people I just met. Bring some food or eat before hand because no food is served on the ship; however, my date and I sampled the local butternut and fire island brews and they were fantastic. Thanks to the captain and the crew for a wonderful sunset cruise.

Probably the best thing I did in New York all weekend. The wind was up and we had an unbelievable sunset...and three rounds of beer doesn't hurt! :) Captain Julian and his crew took wonderful care of us!

Much to my surprise, the sails went up and the engine went off as soon as we'd backed out of the slip. We then had a quiet but invigorating, gorgeous trip down the Hudson and down below the Statue of Liberty. It wouldn't have been as much fun if the wind had been weaker. Captain and crew were great the entire time.

It was a lot of fun to sail with captain Andrew and his crew.

The staff went above and beyond to provide a fun and positive experience. The Live Jazz Music was a nice touch.

I purchased 2 tickets for the schooner maybe a week or two before. As we were waiting for the schooner to begin loading passengers, my wife got sick. They allowed us to reschedule, but we could not make any time this month. I accept that, since your stated policy is no refunds. However, about 10 minutes before I cancelled, I had purchased a ticked for my stepdaughter. I would have thought that at least that ticket could have been refunded, since it could not have influenced any of your planning and the cancellation request was almost immediate. So I am dissatisfied.

thank you so much, my husband and I (who live in NYC) decided to take a break from real life & go sailing! the trip far exceeded our expecations, we had a great tour of the hudson and statue of liberty. Julian was a great captain - very funny & accommodating, but he knew his stuff! we felt very safe and comfortable on the adirondack & can't wait to bring friends and family with us next time. keep up the good work!!
