this is a great two and three quarters of an hour tour. the guide is fantastic, the crew members friendly and helpful. all in all a superb trip....a great experience. even the light food and drink is good!

Great architectural summary or introduction to the amazing depth and breadth of New Yorks architectural history and styles. Also provides an informative social perspective of life past and present through the development of this great city.

Without a doubt, one of the best--most fun, most beautiful, most informative (and tastiest)--experiences I've had since moving to Manhattan many years ago. Seriously. Our lecturer was fabulously knowledgeable and articulate about the several hundred buildings, monuments, parks etc. by an almost equal number of designers in a plethora of styles and materials, from the earliest days of the city right up to the current--and very exciting--rejuvenation of the waterfronts.

Saw sections of Manhattan by boat that I had never seen before. Architect was knowledgable and enjoyed sharing what he knew. Fun boat ride.

We took our tour on a crisp, cloud-free day. Our architect guide knew the history, the buildings, and the environmental and economic issues that created the landmarks around Manhattan....and I mean around. We circumnavigated the island, conclusively proving it is only connected to the surrounding land by bridges. This was the best city tour we ever have taken.

The boat, the Captain and the crew were all wonderful. The boat is a beautiful example of the art of boat building. Captain Kate did a fantastic job and her crew did their utmost to make our trip comfortable and most enjoyable. We had a beautiful sunny day without a cloud in the sky. The views of lower Manhattan, the harbor, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island were out of this world. We want to go back again and again to sample each and every vessel in Classic Harbor Line's fleet!

This cruise is a wonderful way to see Manhattan from a different perspective. The boat was beautiful, the guide and boat crew were very friendly and knowledgeable, and the whole trip was a delight. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in architecture and history, or anyone just looking for a lovely way to spend three hours in New York.

This was a great way to see the city from a different perspective. It was like the Circle Line tour on steroids. The trip was extremely comfortable, and the narrator - who was a professor at Parsons School of Design - was very well informed and very interesting, We were also blessed with a perfectly clear, sunny day. The cruise was one of the major highlights of our week in New York City.

every seat had good visibility - and weather proof

My friends and I had a glorious day sailing around Manhattan. The yacht is comfortable and a perfect size for the most knowledgeable tour guide to be seen and heard We spotted the old familiar buildings and learned about lots of new structures and building plans. Bravo!! Marge Goldsmith

My boyfriend and I went to celebrate our 21st birthdays and it was absolutely amazing! Completely different view of the city and the boat crew was so personable!

The captain was friendly and knowledgeable about NY. The crew was acccessible and good servers. Being so close to the water and watching the sunset was quite the experience for my husband (a motor boat person) and me a landlubber from Brooklyn. My only small complaint is that I would have rather had one glass of good wine instead of the pinot blanc I was served. In any case I would definitley recommend this to New Yorkers and my tourist friends alike.

We enjoyed the most beautiful day as we toured all around Manhattan island! We had not been that close to the Statue of Liberty in over 50 years!! We loved all the history our tour guide provided and found the news about the future development plans fascinating. A day well spent. We recommend this trip to anyone who wants a great visual of the most exciting city in the world.
