Classic Harbor Line

Sailing on America 2.0 was a unique and exciting adventure - different from anything else you'll do in the Big Apple! The experienced captain and young crew were enthusiastic and very capable, and the jovial atmosphere on board was great fun. Our choice of complimentary beer, wine, or soda was a welcome treat. We saw the skyline of NY, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and other interesting boats under sail and power as we cruised along the river. A surprise storm blew up as we were returning to the dock, and our crew managed the fast trimming and docking without a hitch - we all felt very safe in their hands. Sailing is a relaxing, interesting, and unique way to sight-see - and America 2.0 is the best boat for the experience!

I recently went on the city lights sail while I'll was on vacation. I haven't been to the city in a few years so I did a lot of research online before my trip. I found this sail which had good reviews so I thought I would try it out. My wife had never been to the city before and since it was her birthday I thought this would be a fun way to take in the views. The captain and crew were very professional and nice. What I liked the most about the sail was how relaxing it was after a busy day of sightseeing. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for good memories and experience while in New York.

Love that the captain sailed hard! Lots of tacking and sliding from side to side! Exciting day of sailing. I often go sailing with this company. It's like taking a weekend off in only 2 hours! See you again, soon!

My son, an Msc student Architecture and I myself thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Not just because of the splendid boat ride, but especially for the interesting and pleasant, eloquent and expert presentation by Kyle Johnson co-chair of the organising AIANY committee. Not just the usual topics and buildings, but a story and multifaceted perspective of Manhattan from South to North and West to East. Well done!

I went expecting to enjoy the cruise, but it was far better than I imagined. Our docent was so well versed that I learned more on one trip than years living in N.Y.

Was a lovely twilight sail with experienced and accommodating crew on board! Would recommend it as compared to a cruise.

Great view, great crew, and the other guests were pleasant as well. Views were spectacular, the sunset was beautiful. It was my boyfriend's first time on a sail boat and he loved it. He asked if we could do it again some time this summer. Not crowded, and not at all like the giant tourism boats that go through the harbor. Will definitely be doing this again.

This tour was an excellent way to spend an afternoon. The talk from John from the AIA was informative and pitched at a good level to hold our attention without being too detailed. The team were friendly and efficient and the boat very comfortable. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable trip which we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Great boat tour on a lovely 1920's motor launch which circumvented the entire island of Manhattan. The guide talked us through the architecture and the history of this great City. It is not to be missed.

This was by far the best boat trip we have been on. I took my wife on the Adirondack for her birthday and it was an amazing day. The Captain and his crew were so pleasant and kind. A definite relaxing and enjoyable day trip for family,friends and lovers.

Everyone associated with the cruise couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The guide was a font of information and his running commentary sounded spontaneous rather than "canned". The beverages and treats offered were of a high quality. I have already recommended the cruise to several people.
