Lovely boat, beautiful authentic wooden motor yacht. Food was lovely, a great spread over several courses, beautifully presented including make your own waffles, ham on the bone, lovely fruit etc.
The people running the boat were very friendly and welcoming and of course the views are great. It really got our visit to NY off to a delightful start.
A 'must do' activity. |

We had a great time on the Adirondack. Sailing on Hudson is a fantastic way to see NYC in a relaxed way. The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable. While we have some experience in sailboats, most of the other quests did not and I could tell that everyone was enjoying the trip. This is definitely a family friendly activity. The weather was perfect for our cruise and obviously this a factor for this activity. This was one of the highlights of our trip and we will sail again the next time we are in the city. |

With a crew of 3, 9 guests and one of the best sailing days so far this year (according to the skipper), my (adult) daughter and I could not have had a better trip. Thank you so much. |

Had a thoroughly enjoyable outing to Bear Mountain, which I would recommend to anyone looking to do something a little out of the ordinary while visiting New York City. Especially if you have 'done' the main attractions and have time to devote a full day to this trip. It was a perfect way to beat the heat, and the cruise up the Hudson was a delight.
I've written an extensive review for my blog so I won't repeat myself here, except to say, Go if you have the time, and if you enjoy long, leisurely cruising. |

Definitely returning to NY and will do a different cruise with you - no hesitation in recommending, |

Friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our cruise (fabulous weather helped) but it was well organised, crew were friendly and the drinks were cold - what more do you need on a Friday evening! |

Sailing on the Hudson River at sunset is a great way to get an up close view of the Statue of Liberty and the skyline of Manhattan. My family really enjoyed the experience. It was very pleasant to sail the Hudson with the boats sails set, and to watch the sun setting and lights emerging on the city's buildings. We'd highly recommend this activity to people of all ages. |

I'm a sailor and own a small 22 ft sailboat so this sail was extremely appreciated. Weather was very good and the wind was up so in addition to the incredible sights of New York City we had a fantastic sail. The boat is a delight to be sailed. I also appreciated very much the opportunity to join the crew in hoisting the sails.
Excellent and polite service by the crew. |

Captain Andrew and his crew were fantastic, such an excellent trip, inexpensive, exhilarating and a fantastic experience. The crew were knowlegeable and very friendly, we both felt totally safe and at ease on the yacht. |

The two-hour afternoon sail on the Adirondack III was without doubt one of the highlights of of our trip to New York. The views are spectacular and the staff are exceptionally friendly and good humoured. Highly recommended (as is the Brooklyn Pale Ale that was on offer the day I went). |

Nice weather, nice sunshine, nice breeze and very nice crew and captain.
And a nice crowd on the boat.
For me, the best way to have NY in front of you without the hustle and bustle. Just gliding across the water, enjoying a drink and the sea breeze. Forget the tour boats to the Statue, forget Staten Island Ferry. If you want to see it all in style, this is the one for you. |

We started the day (a Monday) at the Tenement Museum, walked to Balthazar for lunch and then took the subway to the High Line for a walk to where the line ends. Followed that with a drink at Morans before walking over to Chelsea Piers. Arrived a bit early for the cruise and not much to do at the Piers so we had a few more drinks at Jasons. Should have stayed longer at Morans but we thought there would be a lot to do and see at the piers. There isn't. The Adirondack sunset cruise started on time at 6.45 and we enjoyed it thoroughly. A light sprinkling of rain was thwarted by rain coats which were quickly distributed. We took some pastries from Balthazar to eat with the champagne provided on board (generous serving of champagne - declined a 4th glass) but people had all sorts of nibblies with them. It was a great way to finish a big day and our only disappointment was that the two restaurants we were aiming for a few minutes away from the piers (Red Cat and Tia Pol) were both full when we arrived after the cruise. Highly recommend the cruise for any age group. Age mix varied from 20's up to 60's. The boat was full but we didn't feel at all cramped. |
