A great way to learn about the native indians, war of independence and the natural history of America at Bear Mountain. The trip is a relaxing contrast to NYC and you are well looked after as a small group travelling along the Hudson river.

The atmosphere was perfect, very low key and only about 10 people on the boat. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The band was amazing and perfectly set the tone. We ended up going the Sunday before Columbus Day and we got to stop and watch the fireworks, it was the perfect end to the ride. I was so excited about going on this cruise and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a romantic night admiring Manhattan.

The speakers are knowledgeable and pull in experts and nonexperts into their lively, and informative descriptions of the Manhattan skyline. If you think you know Manhattan, let these speakers widen your horizons.

I wanted to see as much as possible during a short visit to New York, and it was handy to have a nice meal and a nice view of the island at the same time. The small group of passengers was pleasant and the food was excellent. A good value for a tourist without much time, but don't expect to absorb too much of the information provided about the island -- it's just too much for one morning.

From the moment we stepped on board, we felt pampered. The food and china/silver/glass presentation exceeded expectations. Beautiful yacht with Oriental runners and brass fittings. Crew was a delight and captain provided commentary on key landmarks. Well suited to young children (granddaughters ages 6 and 9) as the cushioned banquettes offered place to snuggle in.

Originally we wanted to to do the architectural tour which happened to be booked up. The alternative that we chose was quite special in it's own right. The crew was fantastic. The food was excellent. The route was spectacular. Commentary was a little on the quiet side not quite rising above the din of the talking passengers. Next time we'll book the architectural tour well in advance. When you come to New York, always, always, always book this tour. Classic Harbor Line shows off Manhattan at it's finest. It is a cruise that you'll never forget.

Really fabulous cruise! Great food and the narative was great as well. We couldn't hear it very well though because of all the talking. I thought it was a good value. My sister and son enjoyed it as well!

I went on the sunset cruise with a group of girlfriends and we had a great time. It was a classy crowd, boat was not overcrowded and the staff was great (and generous with the drinks!). Would definitely recommend...but dress warmly!

I packed a picnic and brought my boyfriend on the Sunset Sail for his birthday. We had a blast. The sail was so much fun and provided beautiful views. The staff was extremely attentive and entertaining. I will definitely be going on another sail in the future!

Fabulous trip - small numbers, seat pre-arranged so no hassle, food excellent quality and plentiful, staff extremely pleasant, informative and helpful ..... and then, of course, all the fantastic views. Well worth the cost.

The brunch cruise was amazing! Our group of 4 enjoyed the-4 course brunch & mimosas while celebrating a 40th birthday. Amazing views & amazing service while in an intimate setting (approximately 50 fellow passengers).

My husband who is approaching his 50th birthday had not been to New York City since he was 15 and we traveled for a 10th wedding anniversary weeklong celebration vacation. The City Lights tour was one of the highlights of our trip - stunningly beautiful, quiet and peaceful, which was a welcome respite after the busy New York City life. The staff was incredibly accommodation, polite and knowledgeable and always available just when we needed something to make the trip even more memorable. A warm blanket, a glass of wine, questions about the boat. The sailboat itself was immaculately clean, well appointed and very safe and the length of the sail was simply perfect. The time flew by effortlessly and was simply a perfect ending to our trip. It was a fantastic date night all around and we loved the opportunity to get an entirely new view of the skyline. I highly recommend it. A great value for the stellar service. You will not regret investing in this unique experience. Best of all, the cruise company had a natural feel, not a "tourist trap"! I felt as though we were boating with friends and the other guests were quiet lovely, respectful. I will definitely do this again. It was my second trip with Harbor Line and I am sold!
