taking this trip was one of the great desicions i have made, the crew are very friendly, a good sorrounding, great for couples, when u what to get away from the noise of the city and just make ur self confortable with ur partner with out being bother. well this is where you should be in...i recomed this to be in your great things to do list..

Having done many of the NYC tourist stuff over the years we loved this cruise for it's bustling start and mellow finish. The captain made himself available for questions about the landmarks, etc, and the boat itself was quite nice. A very good way to spend 3 hours on a Sunday in NYC.

A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Crew were warm, friendly, highly professional and well-informed. The 90-minute length of the ride is just perfect. Wish we could have gone a bit closer to the falls but it was a VERY windy day, so perhaps that was the reason. The arrival time (20-30 minutes before) is a bit too far ahead as the boarding gate does not open until 5 minutes before the departure time and the waiting area is hot and crowded. Once on the water, however, heaven in your hat!

This was by far the best boat trip we have been on. I took my wife on the Adirondack for her birthday and it was an amazing day. The Captain and his crew were so pleasant and kind. A definite relaxing and enjoyable day trip for family,friends and lovers.

I booked myself and my Mum on the afternoon sail and I would highly reccomend this to all visitors to NYC during the summer months. It is a great way to see all of the sites whilst enjoying sailing on a great boat and the cool breeze from the river. The crew were all friendly and the atmosphere relaxed and chilled - it is certainly the best way to see the statue of liberty!

We would do this again and try the other cruises offered by this company. We would recommend the cruise without hesitation. The only change/comment we all agreed upon was that the music was unnecessary and at time distracting.

This is the third time my family and friends have sailed on the Schooner Adirondack and I can't recommend it enough. My aunt (native New Yorker) turned us onto this hidden gem and we can't get enough of it. It is a wonderful way for tourists to get a different perspective of the city. The crew is wonderful, always answering questions and generally seeming interested in chatting with guests. It is a cheap, fun excursion, I would suggest it to anyone visiting the city!

friendly staff, decent crowd, fun trip

Great crew, friendly, knowledgeable service, wonderful evening, only suggestions: get closer to the points of interests. i.e. the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty if possible. The bridge was significantly off in the distance. Could speed up the boat a bit to still make the trip in 2 hours. Definitely a must do activity while in NY!

I enjoyed the City Lights Sail very much. The sights on the Hudson river at night were simply breathtaking. I would highly recommend this outing.

I like our sailing trip a lot, despite of terrible heat this day. Smooth ride, light waves, beautiful wieve. Trip started on time and last exactly two hours. Staff is very attentive, a lot of soft drinks and water on this hot day. It would be nice if captain tell us more stories about beautiful places we see: Downtown Manhattan, skyscribers, NJ side. I recommend this tour to everybody.

Seeing the city from the water was beautiful, and doing so while drinking champagne wasn't half-bad!

Thoroughly enjoyed every minute, and we were all very happy especially when we caught sight of the passing circle line boats that were chugging by jam packed with people! This was a more mellow relaxing & enjoyable way to see the sights!
