The whole experience was terrific. The captain and staff were experienced, helpful, and fun. Everyone onboard was relaxed and happy. The refreshments were plentiful and of very good quality.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience aboard the Adirondak. The tour was wonderfully different than any other cruise around Manhattan island -- e.g., we got to watch the crew and boat "work" amidst the Manhattan background. In addition, we were fortunate to have excellent sailing weather.

This champagne cruise was a ton of fun! While the waterfalls are completely overrated (with the exception of the one under the Brooklyn Bridge), the actual 1.5 hour cruise around the south end of Manhattan Island was a blast. Lots of great photo opportunities of the million dollar view of downtown Manhattan, Liberty Island, Governor's island, and all the major downtown bridges. While this cruise isn't the cheapest out there, it is definitely worth the money not to be crammed in like cattle like on other similar cruise offerings. The yacht holds a maximum of 60 people so there is plenty of personal space. You also get to choose between sitting in the air conditioned cabin with large windows for picture taking or going out on the deck. The boat is extremely stable and isn't prone to to much bouncing around for those who get queasy stomachs. Throw in the free drinks and champagne, excellent and friendly staff, and a knowledgeable captain and you have an excellent and fun experience. I would do it again!

The boat tour takes in the Statue of Liberty as well as the Waterfalls. It's a lovely tour of the Lower Hudson River and the East River up to about 14th Street. Nice staff, unlimited champagne and plenty of room to move on deck. Great experience and fun with a group of friends.

I'm a bitter New Yorker, I decided to go on this cruise to check out the Waterfalls and drink champagne. Mission Accomplished. The boat ride was tons of fun and they weren't cheap with the champs, either. My only gripe was that at a full one and a half hours it was too short. My guests and I enjoyed seeing our favorite city from the water. I highly recommend to all - natives and tourists.

I highly recommend Day sail. It was just breathtaking and very very relaxing. It was my mom's birthday and she was born in the Dominican Republic. Where she always sailed and although she and my Godmother have lived in NY for over 30 years, this was their first experience sailing. My 8 year old son was also in awe. Just be sure to get there early and on the line in order to secure a seat to your liking. Highly Recommended definitely will do it again!

My wife, daughter and I had a great time on the cruise. I like sailing and it was a lot of fun watching how quickly the crew got the sails up. The weather was perfect and we were able to pick up speed as we sailed with the wind. The view of the city was great and we took some nice pictures of the Statue of liberty. The crew provided excellent service and the captain answered everyone's questions. I would highly recommend this activity and I would like to take the sunset cruise the next time I visit New York. I don't know what I expected, but this wasn't it...it was scaffolding with water pouring form it. The boat was beautiful and we went really close to the Statue of Liberty...that was the highlight for me. It is something different and interesting to do.

This was a very relaxing way to spend an afternoon in NYC. The boat had plenty of room and it was great to have a little champagne (you can also purchase cocktails) and see the sites around Manhattan. The Waterfalls themselves were not the most impressive things but the whole experience was well worth it! I would do it again!

My friends and I wanted to do something special for a 40th birthday before dinner. This cruise was just perfect and so much more than we could have imagined! The boat was spectacular, comfortable, well cared for. The staff very service oriented and the trip being 1.5 hours was enough to "take us away" for a while and enjoy the water and city views. Of course we got a bit tipsy from the bottomless glasses of champagne!! I will recommend this to everyone that visits me in NY...and I will go with them every time!

We arrived early and waited in line, then were told as we boarded that we must sit in the cabin for safety information. We did, and then the crew allowed latecomers to sit outside - in the good seats - and miss the safety talk. The cruise served alcohol, yet allowed small children to attend, and the crew allowed the children to run wild and unsupervised in an unsafe manner. And to top it all off, we couldn't hear the narration about the Waterfalls exhibit. It should have been a lovely event, but wasn't as good as it could have been.

Loved the champagne - nice touch

Great way to view the city skyline and glimpse the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Wish it took us under the Brooklyn Bridge, but regardless we had a great time. The captain and his staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. They didn't hesitate to offer to take photos of our group, which we greatly appreciated. The memories will last a lifetime, and it was worth every penny. A fabulous New York adventure.
