Classic Harbor Line

This is a wonderful way to spend a very special, memorable evening with friends. The staff is friendly but not intrusive. The scenery is spectacular. I have lived in NYC for 37 years and still got a thrill seeing the skyline from the Hudson River. Especially beautiful were the sunset's reflection off the glass buildings of the financial district and the silhouettes of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty's against the orange sky. This experience is so much better than spending an evening at an expensive restaurant.

Our sail on America 2 was a fabulous experience. The relaxed atmosphere created by the attentive crew really made this a most enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. After a hectic day in Manhattan, we welcomed the chance to sit back and take in the amazing views as we sailed up to the statue of liberty. I would highly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed this experience - seeing the Statute of Liberty with the sun setting behind her and then as the boat turned we had half an hour or so to see the buildings in Manhattan slowly change colour as the sun began setting. The wind in the sail and the champagne in your hand - a great experience!

On a larger ship I would have felt like a tourist. But on the schooner I felt I was having more of an adventure. The Classic Harbor Line crew did a great job. All in all, a memorable experience.

Crew was enthusiastice and remarkably pleasant and helpful!! Boat is charming with lots of wood and detail. Jazz Trio was very good and also fun and relaxed. Take the trip - great way to see Manhattan skyline and Lady Liberty

The sunset sail is a beautiful way to see Manhattan in a different way, even for New Yorkers like us. Views were spectacular, boat was comfortable, people were friendly.

This was a great tour. We had beautiful weather, got to see some great buildings, and heard some really cool information about the buildings. My fiancée works in interior design and loves architecture, so I knew she would love this cruise. I figured I'd be bored and lost. However, that wasnt the case at all. The tour guides did a great job pointing out and talking about the buildings on the tour. The map and pictures in the welcome brochure was very helpful too. Everyone received one complimentary glass of wine, champagne, or a beer, and cheese, fruit, and crackers were served. My fiancée and I had a really fun afternoon enjoying a few drinks, the beautiful weather, and the amazing scenery. We would both definitely recommend this cruise. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Had almost perfect weather for our architectural tour of Manhattan Sunday afternoon. Enjoyed being able to circumnavigate the island in a less frantic, crowded manner than some of the competitors. Smaller boat, less crowded and noisy, more relaxing. Knowledgeable guides from the local architectural society.

Nice sunday trip for single, couple or whole family. Friendly staff, good food and amazing views of Manhattan.

The boat is very majestic looking, not sure I'll ever be on a three mast sail boat again. You get very close to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. There are great views of Manhattan the entire time. A good selection of beer, which is included in your ticket price.

The boat cruise was amazing. The wine was great to sample and there was plenty, with bottles that could be purchased at the end. The table we sat at was very entertaining compared to some of the others but everyone seemed to be having fun. Also, the boat ride around the city wasn't too short or too long. Overall, it was great and look forward to doing it again.

When planning my sister's bachelorette party, she had asked me to include wine tasting. Since it wasn't her first time wine tasting, I thought how can I make this special? I searched online for "wine tasting NYC" and this was one of the first results I clicked. It was super easy to make the reservation and although I didn't know what to expect, I had a feeling it was going to be great. We boarded the boat at 2pm. It was clean and our table was ready for us. We got to taste 5 different wines plus a complimentary glass of sparkling wine to kick off the event. The cheeses we were given were delicious. The staff was exceptional, always willing to snap a photo when asked. The ride was smooth and some of the people I was with that tend to get sea sick felt great the whole trip. It was an event I will never forget and would definitely do again. The ride is 2 hours and 45 minutes long. It never felt too short or too long, it was the perfect amount of time. I recommend anyone that enjoys wine tasting to take part. Truly a fun and interesting experience.

Everything about the boat cruise around the island of Manhattan was wonderful and that is even with the weather not cooperating for the first 1/2 hour, when there was rain & substantial wind! Even in the begining of the cruise when there was rough water the boat rode very smoothly, and we enjoyed the comfortable seating inside (that has great visibility). When the weather cleared it was fabulous to be on the deck soaking in the sites (and sun, which did come out!). All of the food (multiple courses) was delicious and the crew was friendly, accessible, and knowledgable! The boat is a great size (maybe seats 50 max?) so you are treated like a welcomed guest, rather than a herded tourist (as i have experienced on other "cruises"). It also was refreshingly clean (including the bathrooms (aka "heads"). Would recommend this experience to anyone -- and actually did -- buying the trip as gifts for 6 in the party that i was with (and they also loved it!). We plan to do it again to enjoy one of the other specialty cruises (like the wine tasting / architectural cruise -- and they offer more ...). This is a GREAT gift idea for those hard to buy for people! On top of the great experience, where else in Manhattan can you get a drink, four (i believe) courses of wonderful food, and a cruise in a luxury boat around Manhattan island for the price they charge?!!!
