Great trip, a little too short on sites

| We really enjoyed the trip, we just wished we were able to get out to the East River to see the bridges a little closer. The trip was touted as a trip that included the bridges but we really never got close to them. Service and crew were excellent. | ||||||

| It was the celebration of my husband's birthday. We have been married for 20 years and it is a challenge to give him a gift that is different and exciting. When I saw this, I knew he would love it and that it would be a romantic evening for us both. The boat was cozy, just the right size and the crew so welcoming. The City never looked better, particularly with fireworks. One of the sights that truly captivated us was The Statue of Liberty...She was grandly regal with her siloquet against the sky. | We were a family with adult children and we enjoyed it very much -One concern we had was that the boat woulkd be very rocky and the captain was very nice and showed alot of concern. The view was great and the timing perfect - An hour and a half was just right. | ||||||

| We had a lovely evening. Our captain and crew were attentive, professional and fun. The boat was roomy and classy. The winds were calm so we had to travel under power for a good part of the time (which obviously the crew had no contol over) but the motor was quiet and with the main sail up we still had a bit of a sensation of being under sail. It was just a fun, great night due to the competent and very pleasant crew and beautiful, old boat. | ||||||

| I was on the full moon Friday night cruise. The moon was a little hazy, but the captain and hosts were very accomodating. Four of us were celebrating birthdays and the group sang us Happy Birthday, and champagne was poured freely. This was not a rowdy time, it was a pleasant, relaxing, low key experience. The crew took our beverage order and served us. We were unexpectedly treated to a 25 minute fireworks show somewhere near the Statue of Liberty. I was disappointed that we never got close to Lady Liberty. This is not an informational cruise where landmarks are pointed out and history talked about. But, I really enjoyed myself. | ||||||

| Great way to spend an evening together for a birthday, anniversary, date. We included it as an interlude between dinner and an evening of partying. Friendly crew and fellow passengers weren't too rowdy so you could be with yourselves or join the crowd. | ||||||

| I booked the sunset cruise last weekend for my boyfriend and I, as I was looking for something "different" to do in the city. This was one of the most fun things I've done in awhile! We opted to sit on one of the sides of the boat, while a lot of people chose to sit on the more cushioned section near the captain (who was very friendly, by the way!) We weren't all crammed in; there was plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. We brought a long a few things to eat, which we purchased at the little cafe in Chelsea Piers. The crew kept the drinks flowing; we never had an empty drink! You get a lovely view of the skyline, along with an up close look at the Statue of Liberty. I enjoyed seeing one of the waterfall installations in the distance. This cruise is so relaxing and beautiful; it's something I wish we could do every weekend! Our weather was perfect; it had been in the high 90's all day, but it was much cooler on the water at sunset. I thought 2 hours would be a long time, but we wished it lasted much longer! Highly recommended!! | ||||||

| My gf and i had a total blast!!! It was so romantic and relaxing to be on the water. We highly recommend it to everyone. We're planning on doing it again soon...most likely the moonlight one next. Can't wait!!! | ||||||

| What a wonderful trip. We went on a Friday at 6pm. It was absolutely fantastic, so relaxing and such an unusual way to see the city without feeling like a complete tourist. Great for mixed groups be it couples, families or friends. Would highly recommend and I would certainly go again. What a great way to wind down, with a glass of champagne in hand whilst watching the sun start to go down against the horizon of the New York skyline. | ||||||

| The sail was nice, a little choppy so I was a little nauseous, but otherwise, lovely weather. Don't forget to bring sunglasses! We had a really good time, it was very laidback and relaxing. The captain didn't really tell us what places we were sailing past, unless we specifically asked him. But all in all, a pretty good ride. | ||||||

| This tour is a must do in New York. The staff is great, the views are amazing, and it is definitely worth the time. It doesn't get better than cruising down the Hudson from Chelsea Piers only under the power of the wind. it starts out under power of the motor to get away from the piers, but as soon as you are in open water, they drop the sails and you head south toward the Statue of Liberty and Eilis Island. Once they have the sails trimmed, the crew comes around and asks what type of drink you would like and then it is a relaxing two hours. You get to see Manhattan and its wonderful skyline from the water, you get up close to the Statue of Liberty and Eilis Island, and you get a cool and relaxing couple of hours on the water. The price is not bad either. Take the time and enjoy the Schooner Tour while you are in New York City. | ||||||
