Enjoyed the trip very much. We had wonderful weather, and the narration was interesting- even our 15 yr old was engaged. A big note- the website gives the impression that there's no food, and offers a cheese plate. In fact, a nice snack spread is included with the ticket (and the first drink!) So skip that, you can always order a la carte if you want more.

The day sail on the Schooner America 2.0 was delightful. Sailing passed lower Manhattan, the World Trade Center, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty was a highlight of this excursion. I highly recommend it!

We all really enjoyed the trip. We sailed out to the Statue of Liberty and then up to the Brooklyn Bridge. The views of the Statue of Liberty and especially Manhattan are excellent. We also enjoyed the free beer and beverages. The staff were professional and nice. Overall - a great experience!

I've visited NYC many times and "seen the sights" but this was hands down the best experience I've had. It is not touristy at all and worth every penny. The staff was great, my friends and I got to try three local beers we had never tried before and we enjoyed every minute of it. I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone!

I have taken several trips on the Schooner Adirondack which have included a solo journey, entertaining out-of-town guests and most recently, the Full Moon Sail with my boyfriend. Each sail has been uniquely memorable, but the Full Moon Sail was a particularly lovely and peaceful experience. The setting and mood really do set the tone, even with our group where there were a few well-behaved bachelorette party members in attendance. Locals shouldn't worry that this is a tourist-trap booze cruise. It's not! It's a refuge from the hustle and bustle without even leaving the island of Manhattan. When you dock, be sure to check out the equally tranquil Chelsea Piers Park.

We went during a full moon. It was a very nice night out and the ride was smooth. Very Romantic. We are definitely going to go again (and invite some friends)

We went on a Friday night as group of 7 for a bachelorette party. We had a fantastic time. The views of the city lights at night were awesome and we sailed fairly close to the Statue of Liberty. The crew was very friendly and accommodating to our group. We were well served in regards to champagne and wine. We were able to get a coupon code simply by calling the office and inquiring about a discount since we had a larger group. Overall, we had such a great time. It was a great way to start off our first night in the big city.

I would highly recommend this outing. Wonderful view of the NYC skyline. The crew was very nice and capable. Great way to spend an afternoon!

This was an awesome experience. My 4-year old daughter wanted to go on a sailboat and I am so happy I chose Schooners Adirondack. She said 'mommy, that was the best boat ever" and it was so cool seeing the statue of liberty upclose" - for me that alone was rewarding and priceless.

I took my teenaged niece and nephews 17, 15 and 13 years of age. We loved the experience. SO beautiful, nice crew, nice crowd. I told everyone about it. keep up the good work!

If you want an experience without a narrator, this one is for you. You board, pick the spot you will sit in for 2 hours and drink your beverages (or eat your own snacks), from Chelsea Pier to the Statute of Liberty and back. There really is no walking around the boat, especially if it's full. Great place to take pictures from and twighlight cruise was really pretty.

We really enjoyed the boat ride tour and have already recommended it to friends. The architect guide was very expert and had great info. But when I had called to sign up, I had been told (without my asking!) that it was not usually good for kids under 18, and that people who want to talk are asked to speak softly or go outside so all can hear the guide. It ended up that almost everyone was talking, we told the guide we couldn't hear him and asked him to make an announcement re the noise -- and his announcement was not forceful. We ended up having to "police" the situation ourselves, asking at least 4 groups to go outside to talk. Further, there were 2 young children, who basically were extremely well-behaved -- but after 90 minutes (this tour is almost 3 hours), became understandably restless. They ran around and their grandfather let them play a radio despite our telling him we could not hear the guide with the radio on. At the end of the trip we told the guide about our pleasure with the info but our displeasure with the lack of compliance to the "rules" -- and he told us he had not been told about those rules himself. He also said that we could have gone outside and still heard him on a speaker, which we did not know. One more thing -- the snacks were excellent: fruit, cheese, and a nice bread/cake.

Lovely boat, worthwhile commentary, welcome refreshments. A little slow along the Harlem River, a little rushed rounding the Battery, with so many buildings and other features to describe, but all in all a great day and a good value.

I decided to take my boyfriend on this cruise to celebrate his birthday. We are from NYC but never experienced it like this. The trip is 90 mins & the captain & crew were very sweet. Pointing out sites as we sailed along. We also bought a couple extra drinks and the prices were reasonable. I would recommend this cruise to a local or tourist. Worth the money!
