I always was on boats but never expreinced being on a sail boat. I had a great time it was an experince I recommend for others to enjoy.

Nothing like spending a special day such as Father's Day with your special someone. The Yacht was really lovely. The teak and mahogany trims give it such a elegant feel. The decor is stylish, the crew absolutely wonderful. Would be nice if you were given the option to purchase fresh fruit and snacks, although the trip is just 11/2hrs long. Picnic baskets can be brought onboard for those romantics that plan ahead. There is a bar on the yacht - initial drinks are comped. Beautiful music plays in the background. I went on the sunset cruise and made dinner arrangements at a favorite restaurant afterwards. This is great for couples or a group of friends that want to spend some quality time before or after dinner. I will definitely do it again.

Both my boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience. The crew was extremely courteous and very knowledgable about New York City. Although it was a cool evening in September when we went, there were plenty of blankets to keep everyone warm. When the engine was cut and we were able to sail, it was so quiet and relaxing. The views of New York and the Statue of Liberty at night were breathtaking. I highly recommend the night cruise to everyone who wants to see the city at night.

I booked this for a one year anniversary celebration with my boyfriend. I am a New Yorker, but he is not. It was a perfect way for him to enjoy the city for the 2nd time in his life, and for me to be reminded how beautiful the city really is. We had perfect weather, and the crew, headed up by Captain Kate was friendly, attentive, and even though we had an extremely packed sail...every seat available was taken...we didn't feel ignored by the crew and in the 75 min sail, they even managed to make the drink pass 4 times, so we were never left wanting for more. We were lucky enough to get one of the seat cushions, but i can imagine that if we had gotten a spot without it, it would have been a bit tedious on the bum by the end of the sail, so i suggest bringing a cushion or getting there first and sitting up towards the front of the boat near the captain for the most comfort. Don't have anything negative to say. overall great deal for the money.

We always have a great time on the sails. It is so much fun and so relaxing. My son and nephews had a blast. It made a gorgeous day in NYC even better.

We had a great time! It was the perfect way to spend a very hot day in Manhattan and still be outdoors. Crew was great!

We had a great time on the schooner adirondack. This was my second time sailing on the schooner. We gave this as a gift to my 13 yr. old niece. My 9 nine year old daughter, myself and my husband all went too. It is a very relaxing tour. You sail from Chelsea Piers down to the Statue of Liberty and back. We brought our own snacks and they offered beer, soda and water. My daughter brought along her digital camera and had a great time taking pictures. I think it is a nice way to spend quality family time together!

Loved the cruise itself & would enjoy doing it again. A great experience, even for us NYC natives. Sat outside on deck for entire cruise. Time of day was perfect, weather was perfect. Beautiful sunset on the water. Beautiful views of the two rivers & Statue of Liberty. The excuse for taking the cruise was to see the Waterfalls which turned out to be only mildly interesting.

Moderator was knowledgeable about subject and definitely approachable. Really nice atmosphere and just the right size of people on the boat.

as ex sailors, we were a bit dubious as to what to expect from a tourist cruise on a sailboat. Not to worry, we had a great time, the boat sailed the entire trip, professional staff were not intrusive, and fantastic views. Crew gave out info as needed, did not get into a typical canned tourist spiel. Nice boat, everything worked, sailed great. Highly recommend.
