Classic Harbor Line

Took a flyer on this tour -- had to book months in advance. Turned out to be absolutely fabulous! The architect was articulate, knowledgeable, witty and flexible. The other passengers were polite, quiet and as interested as we were in listening and looking. The boat was clean and comfortable, the service friendly and unobtrusive. It helped, of course, that it was a gorgeous spring day...see what you can do about making sure you get this weather bonus. We are veterans of historical and architecture tours in Manhattan and this tour outshines them all.

I did a lot in my week in New York City. If I hAd a chance to repeat the activities, this would be at the top of the list. The commentator spoke non stop (but conversation with people was possible), identifying buildings and the architects, speaking about each of the bridges we went under, activities of the city in establishing parks, and more. Visibility from any of the seats is not an issue.It was a great trip!

My wife and I booked the Sunset Sail and it exceeded our expectations. The Adirondack was immaculate and well maintained, it's captain and crew were knowledgable and friendly and the sailing was wonderful. We had perfect sailing weather, a beautiful sunset and thoroughly enjoyed every minute on board. We have already highly recommended this event to others and will continue to do so. Worth every penny!!

It is several years since I took a tour around Manhattan. In the meantime much has changed. All this was explained in very interesting fashion by our two commentators. The boat is delightful and very comfortable. This is an ideal tour to take visitors to NYC on, particularly if they have an interest in architecture.

A relatively small boat provides an intimate milieu. Refreshments are very nice. Guide is extremely knowledgeable.

I took my boyfriend for his birthday and it was suoer romantic I would definitely go again

An extra 15-30 minutes would allow the friendly, knowledgable local architect/guide to not hurry in order to keep pace with the speed of the boat. Glad we went on it.

This is our fourth trip on 1 January and our fifth overall. It is a super trip and one of the best ways to begin the new year.

My family and I had a fabulous time! The scenery was spectacular, the boat was beautifully decorated, the jazz band was wonderful and the crew was gracious and friendly. Really exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this cruise!

I've lived here my whole life & I learned about things I didn't know existed. The guides were erudite, interesting and friendly. The boat was comfortable, the staff most accommodating. The snacks were a welcome surprise. The city is constantly changing; I can't think of a better way to keep up.

This was a great trip. Our guide was well-informed and articulate. The views and anecdotes were spectacular. Captain, crew and repast were top-notch.

The boat was comfortable and the staff was helpful and accommodating. The tour leader was affable, but he had much more information than he seemed willing to give on the tour. There were periods of silence, not enough detail about the various structures that we passed and he did not seem to invite questions. The whole tour was pitched at too low a level.

This was a really great tour around Manhattan. The best part was the wonderful and informative "architecture" talk as we went round given by an architect. The day was dark and rainy, some fog and yet the trip was still lovely ! Highly recommend it. The boat was impeccable, extremely comfortable, great staff as well as snacks and coffee etc. Easy to get to, and the specific speaker we had was really good (there are several that rotate through the scheduled trips) we had lived in Manhattan for 20 years, never did something like this and it was such a good way to start a recent visit.
