Living on Long Island I've had my fair share of ferries, rowboats and cruisers but the one thing I've always wanted to do was sail.
This was the perfect place to experience a beautiful sail. The ship was immaculate, the crew cheerful and friendly and the captain shared so much of the history of the area as well as answering any odd questions the passengers had. The sail itself was fantastic and easily worth twice the price. I can't wait to return. |

Recently had a wonderful experience sailing on the Adirondack II. The boat is gorgeous, crew friendly and attentive. $ 1.00 bottles of Sam Adams, red or white wines, mimosa's a great amenity. Felt like I was part of the "upper crust" for 90 fun-packed minutes. Not a boring leisurely ride around the bay. A real sailing experience - sails billowing, boat tipped so that you felt the spray and could touch the water, great speed . Got the chance to pilot the boat at full tilt - thanks so much for a highlight of our trip to Newport. Plan on returning next year for a family outing. Dress casually, wear sneakers, bring a light jacket, (expect wind-blown hair, it's part of the experience!!) |

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon sail around Newport Harbor! Totally relaxing! The Captain and Crew were professional, knowledgeable and provided many interesting tidbits of information about our surroundings. We would definitely sail again! Highly recommended! |

Beautiful boat.
Crew accomodating.
Captain provided us with much history of the sail, boats in the area as well as historical landmarks. We are locals, but still learned something.
Would highly recommend. |

We decided on a sail for the day after a wedding activity. Everyone loved the trip. The crew were friendly and well informed. We also had a beautiful day for a sail. |

It was a wonderful trip start to finish and in every way. Captain was upbeat and set a great tone at the start. Staff was friendly, fun, courteous, and all contributed to knowledge about the area and answered questions. The ride was smooth and relaxing...the skies beautiful and breeze heavenly! It was nice having beverages on hand...and only one dollar each! I recommend the Adirondack II wholeheartedly! |
