After a rainy, windy morning in Newport, we anxiously waited for the weather to break. As the sun came out and the wind turned into a warm breeze, we boarded the Adirondack feeling hot and sticky. As soon as the motor of our ship was turned off and the third sail hoisted, we slid into the beautiful Naragansett Bay soundlessly. The breeze was refreshing and the sail absolutely perfect. The too short trip was interesting and relaxing. It was one of the hightlghts of our visit to Newport. |

Our visit to Newport was enhanced substantially by choosing an afternoon cruise on the Adirondack II. We were there in late fall so it was not overly crowded and the crew was hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable. It was one of the highlights of our visit. |

The captain and crew kept the passengers on their toes (literally) as the extreme keeling was more than anticipated on a "tourist sail". Do not bring your 80 year old grandmother. Thoroughly enjoyed it! |

My husband and I loved the boat ride. We happened to book it during the Americas Cup week so all of the boats were practicing around our sail. It was amazing. Once in a lifetime opportunity for us really. Crew was very friendly and all of the people on board had a great time. Would highly recommend. |
