| Delightful ride. Difficult to hear Captain tell about the things we were passing. Crew was lovely. Drinks a dollar and water free - can't beat that. Wish it was longer. |

| The sailing part of the experience was fine. But we were expecting something of a guide of Newport harbor, with all its mansions and the fort and historic places. The skipper was the only one who said anything, but he said relatively little, and he spoke quietly, and no one further than ten feet from him could hear. If these are intended just for a sailing experience, that should be made more clear on your web site. If they are intended for some sort of "tour" or "local color" experience, then you should invest in a decent sound system so that the skipper can be heard throughout the boat. |

| The weather happened to be perfect - about 80 and sunny with a slight wind. When the boat left the dock the engines were on, but once we were out in the Sound it was just the sails guiding us through the water. It was extremely peaceful. A wonderful hour and a half. The Captain pointed out sites along the way.
My husband and I loved it, although if the weather had been rough we probably would not have tried it. |

| The crew was very attentive. Nice touch to provide beverages (water free, beer and wine for a nominal charge - 1$), Well worth the price. |

| The Aiderondeck II is an awesome vessel, especially if one has never been on a ship under sail which is over 90 feet in length. It is definitely inspiring to watch the crew go about their work as they maneuver in criss-crossing the Bay. (The beverage service was more than adequate with complimentary water and inexpensively-priced soft beverages and beers.) We purchased tickets online within 90 minutes of our sailing time, and the process was smooth with no glitches, hence, we actually could have chosen a better time-of-day to maximize the wind for sailing had we not been locked into that particular morning to take our guests out on a sight-seeing trip around the Newport Harbor. Unfortunately, we picked a day that delivered less than moderate winds, in fact, the skipper of the boat had to start the diesel engine while trolling back to the harbor just to overcome the effects of a slacking tide while still in the RI sound. Alas, that is the luck of the draw; nonetheless, it proved to be a most enjoyable cruise with a very knowledgeable skipper who was able to fill the time with informative stories and candid conversation. |

| Unfortunately it was too calm for a "total" sail so the captain opted to use the "iron sails"
frequently-which brought us out further into the bay but wasn't as quiet as we would have liked, but otherwise it was great. Would recommend this activity highly. |

| This is a nice slow trip around the harbor. You are sailing so your speed may depend on the wind. I thought we'd go out into the open ocean, but the launch is too far from the harbor entrance, so be aware of what you are getting. Again, distance traveled could depend on the wind speed. The sailors were nice and had some interesting stories about the structures around the harbor. |

| To keep it short and sweet this was our second year visiting newport and we totally missed out on a sail boat tour the first time around but luckily we found the adirondack II and found out what newport is really about....the crew was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and the booze is only a BUCK! |
