Activity Description
Join us in celebrating our nation's independence! Watch Newport's fireworks display from the best seat in the house on this festive 4th of July sail aboard Adirondack II. Climb aboard with our experienced crew for this intimate celebration while leaving the rowdy crowds of the city behind.
As one of the nation's oldest cities, founded in 1639, Newport, Rhode Island puts on an elaborate Fireworks display from the shore of Fort Adams in order to celebrate the independence of our Nation. While the fireworks can be seen throughout Newport, the best place to see them is from Narragansett Bay, where there are no visual obstructions to take away from the show. During our most popular summer sail, you'll:
- Take in unobstructed views of Newport Bridge, historic lighthouses, stately waterfront mansions, and Fort Adams
- Enjoy complimentary bite-size hors d'oeuvres
- Sip complimentary beverages including champagne, beer, wine, and soft drinks
- Stroll on the open-air deck of our amazing eighty foot schooner
Not only will you experience the joy of a leisurely Newport sail, but you'll also enjoy the various sights of Newport and Narragansett Bay, lit up to celebrate this special day.
As always your knowledgeable captain and crew are always ready to answer questions about the sights and history of Newport Harbor and its surrounding areas.
