Sunset Sail on the Schooner Adirondack II

It was an awesome time, the sun was setting, we were sipping on wine, it was very romantic, me and my girlfriend enjoyed it, the staff was ready to answer any questions we had, they made sure it would be a trip we would never forget thanks.

This was my 4th time cruising with Adirondak II. Would be nice if it was more of a guided cruise. If you aren't sitting by the captain, you can't hear them talk about points of interest. Would be nice if that was able to be broadcast better. Service and crew were great. There was very little wind so on the way back, we motored in a bit. Beautiful sunset!

The sunset cruise was pretty and the captain was very informative about the area. We had a great time and would recommend this sunset cruise.

We did this first thing as we stormed into town. It was a great way to see the skyline, and harbor, and water, and sunset, and breezes, *and people* of Newport. The highlight of it was our captain - she was a great conversationalist. ...and very knowledgeable about the harbor, the shoreline, the history of the America's Cup in Newport. Make sure to sit in the back of the boat to be involved with the storytelling. PS: It isn't a luxury cruise - if that is what you are looking for - but it was highly enjoyable -- especially for the reasonable rate. Make sure to bring a couple of snacks to go with the relatively reasonably priced booze.

The adirondack II is a gorgeous ship guided by a pleasantly laid back and knowledgable crew. They entertained and charmed the guests and sailed us around effortlessly. My ten year old son enjoyed the view every bit as my girlfriend and I did. We took gorgeous sunset pictures on the water and enjoyed every minute. THIS CRUISE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY SPENT. Can't wait to come back next year. Thanks to the crew and captain! Please give those fine gentlemen a raise!

the sunset was amazing for me and my fiance! water was calm and a nice ocean chill made it perfect! great views and very informative . Highly recommend it to everyone!

Sunset cruise was great! Staff were knowledgeable about local sites and activities, extremely nice and professional. It was peaceful and the ship was beautiful. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a perfect way to impress a date or to relax after a long day at the beach or sightseeing.

The harbor cruise was lovely, being on a schooner was more thrilling than other cruises I've been on. The champagne ($3) was a nice touch. Only downside is that it would have been nice if the crew members pointed out more of the sights with a little background. Still, the view of the sunset was spectacular!

We had thought of doing the sunset sail on many occasions and finally did. It was a great night!!! The crew were very friendly and the boat was smooth as ice. We are looking forward to doing it again soon!
