Sunset Sail on the Schooner Adirondack II

Was crammed in to many people on board and the trip was to short just around the harbor. seemed like a long time getting out, by the time they opened up the sails it was time to turn around and the beer and champane was sunked. The sunset cruse wasn't a romantic trip at all.

This was an anniversary present from my daughter and husband. It was fun and got us out for a sunset cruise. We used to sail so it was fun especially for my husband to be on a sailboat again. The captain was great, competent and informative about the surroundings. The crew were businesslike and efficient. It was an enjoyable cruise for us.

I surprised my boyfriend with tickets to sail after a long day at the beach and it was lovely! The crew is very attentive and friendly. The service and overall experience is A++. Kudos to everyone at Adirondack II!!

It was really nice, a bit breezy, cheap but good wine/ champagne/ beer. We didn't get any info on the area. The captain was talking to the people around him but we weren't close enough to hear anything. I would say go, dress warm but don't expect a tour or info on the area.

My fiance and I decided to buy tickets for the evening sail while we were on a trip to RI. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed ourselves very much. We had perfect weather for the sail and took in breathtaking views of the water and sunset. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Newport. It's definitely worth your while.

My husband and I had a amazing time on the sunset cruise around the Newport Harbor. The crew was very knowlegable, freindly and entertainig. I highly recommend anyone interested in taking in the sites to do it with the family of the Schooner Adirondack II. You have made our experience a memorable one. Out of all the things we saw/did in Newport, this definitely ranks high on the list. The boat was beautiful, the captain was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly, and the $1 beer/champagne/wine was a great deal. We were able to see some beautiful spots from the water and learn quite a bit about the area from the captain. Just wonderful!

This is our second cruise. We have done this for our 1st and 2nd wedding anniversary and plan on taking the cruise again for our 3rd. We had a great time!

This was a gift for my 50th birthday! My husband and I had a great time. We're thinking of doing it every year now in the summer. How can we not enjoy this beautiful city when it's right in our back yard? I highly recommend it - everyone on the boat seemed to enjoy the sail! The crew members were very informative!!

This is a beautiful boat, comfortable places to sit. They offered blankets because the evening was cool. The staff was friendly, professional, and fun. This was a calming and pleasurable activity, well worth making time for.
