Newport Dark and Stormy Schooner Sail

We had such a beautiful day and a fabulous sail around the harbor. Captain Chris was fun and knowledgable. The kids and adults alike had a great time taking the wheel. A good time to be had by all!

This was a great evening for the two of us, both of whom have been professional yachties. The boat is beautiful, well laid out and fast. The skipper, Chris and the crew were professional, helpful and very amusing. I would highly recommend this outing. And it's good value!

It was a beautiful night for a sail and we definitely were not disappointed. The captain and the crew were all very good. The captain kept telling us some great stories of the region. The two crew members (both college kids) were very pleasant and would answer questions of whatever came there way. And the drink - the dark and stormy- wasn't too bad either.

Last weekend my boyfriend, ,myself, and another friend went on the "dark and stormy" sail! We had such a great time. The boat is beautiful and the staff are really friendly and informative. They are extremely experienced sailors and showed us a great time. The views of Newport are spectacular and the staff give you information about everything you are seeing. Great drinks too!!!

We were the only two customers on the boat, probably because of the "dark and stormy" weather. The crew offered to take us out the next day and watch the Folk Festival from the water but we were only in town for the day so they said if we were game they were too. My sister sails a little but had never been on a big boat, we now have a great picture of her at the wheel and it was the highlight of our 10 day trip to the Rhode Island-Connecticut area. Barbara and I are from Texas ( I live in Colorado now) and we are used to Southern hospitaility, the customer service and general friendly attitude of your staff (and pretty much everyone we met on our trip) made us feel right at home. great sail..competent, personable crew..good drinks..best sail is probably late afternoon when wind picks up...less crowded that I had feared

This was part of a great birthday night for my husband. We had great weather, a personable and knowledgable crew, and great $1 dark and stormy drinks. Even though we have both lived and worked in Newport we had never done this type of tour before. It was amazing to see these Newport "landmarks" from the water. Bring a camera and don't be afraid to try the Dark and Stormy drink ( we were one of the only ones to try it). Also, this tour time was good so that we could go to dinner afterward.

It was a relaxing boat ride around Newport. Perfect for a sunny day, but please note that if you book in advance, they still sail in rain and do not give refunds. They do allow you to switch the day of your sail, which is what we did, and it worked out well. The people who work there are very informative and friendly and I would definitely recommend this cruise.

The crew was friendly and very knowledgable. They were there to provide information when asked but also let the passengers take in some of the beautiful day.

Ranging from 2 to 50 years of age, our group of 23 had a most enjoyable experience sailing in Narragansett Bay on the Adirondack II. The boat and crew were perfect hosts and Mother Nature added an exclamation point to a relaxed, wonderful afternoon sail. Thank you and we look forward to a return voyage!
