Wonderful experience...would highly recommend it. A great way to enjoy Newport. Friendly and accomodating staff. They even switched my sail time last minute without any problems. Would love to do the sunset sail next time!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the sunset sail. It was a beautiful evening and the crew members were great hosts.

I came to Newport for a bachelorette party and the boat ride was everyone's favorite activity! The sunset was gorgeous and the staff was very attentive, bringing us drinks and giving us blankets when we got cold. I highly recommend the sunset boat cruise!

Excellent crew

Great customer service! (We had booked a sail for Monday morning but it was windy and raining. SailNewport called to let us know, and tried to get us on an afternoon sail, but weather was still bad so they called again. We were leaving the next day so they offered a gift certificate with no expiration date, which we accepted. The next morning was beautiful, and we decided we had just enough time to take the morning sail and still catch our flight out. We called at the last minute and they got us booked and redeemed our gift certificate with absolutely no hassle.) Everyone was very gracious, the captain was quite knowledgeable, and we enjoyed the trip immensely. Mimosas were good too :)

I had a wonderful sailing excursion on the Adirondack II. The crew and captain were very informative and answered all of our questions. I had the opportunity to be at the wheel. Whether you want to sit back and relax and try your hand with sailing, the captain and crew were great.

Though not a bad experience, it is a barely memorable part of our trip to Newport. It is nice to get out on the water, but 1.5 hours doesn't really cut it, I guess. The boat and staff are all pleasant enough. The summer evening trip is crowded, so expect to be sitting side by side. I'd prefer a longer ride, with enough time to get out of the immediate harbor, on a boat that is less crowded.

The sunset sail was a relaxing and fun time. The crew was friendly, the view was spectacular, and the drinks were cold and inexpensive. It was a perfect activity to do after a day at the beach and before a dinner on the waterfront in downtown Newport. I would certainly book the sunset cruise again and highly recommend it.

The cruise was nice but if you have been on boats before or if you frequent boats it is nothing spectacular. It is a basic cruise around Newport on a Sailboat and they provide drinks for purchase. It was nice out and there are obviously great views. The crew/captain don't really add too much as far as commentary or anything but that was fine. If you are expecting a nice leisure cruise around Newport with drinks you can purchase on the boat than that is exactly what you get.

Our group was at Newport only for a weekend getaway, and having already done the mansions before, we were looking for another activity. The Dark and Stormy Schooner Sail was great because: - at 5 pm, the sun wasn't too hot - views were outstanding - $1 drinks and $2 alcohol, including ginger-based dark and stormy - crew was courteous, relaxed - boat was clean and the space was just right -- not too big nor small; sitting up top made it enjoyable All in all a very relaxing and worth-it 1.5 hours. Just try to be there in good weather though.
