this was a wonderful experience! we had a group of 8 girls in our 20s celebrating a bachelorette party, and it was the perfect way to start the weekend. we had great weather, and the crew was very friendly. mimosas were delicious and a wonderful touch to the beautiful scenery. highly recommend this cruise!

Was a ho hum cruise. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Boat well maintained. Drove out to the middle of the harbor and back. Would have liked to have had a narrative of the sights we were seeing - maybe a little humor thrown in. Got tired of asking the crew questions. We kept passing a lobster boat that appeared to have more going on (and fun).

Suggest u book at last minute when wind is good. Otherwise, ur just motoring. Disappointing for me. If your a seasoned boater, probably skip it. If not, you will enjoy it

After going to school in Newport and coming back to visit yearly for 10 years, we've never done any of the cruises out of the wharf. I can't believe we waited so long! We went with our friends and their kids (total of 6 adults and 6 kids). The crew members were so patient, entertaining, and accommodating! All of the kids got the experience of steering the boat while out on the bay and they got to have some unique sodas in glass bottles, which was a nice treat for them. Of course the mimosas were great too. The crew told us some history about the sights we were passing while out on the water. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone with or without kids and we are definitely going to do it again next time we visit Newport.

We had a wonderful time! The crew was professional and friendly. The cruise was relaxing and enjoyable. It was the perfect end to the day. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The people in my group had never been to RI before so they were quite impressed with the scenery and view of the Newport Bridge. It was a little cloudy that evening, so we could not see the sunset as well as we would have liked, but it was still well worth the price we paid. Thank you.

Too bad that we sailed into a rain storm leaving us soaking wet! Had to cancel dinner reservations that night due to a lack of dry clothing for dinner. I just wish they would have cautioned us beforehand. Down below were the cushions for the seats, so they must have known it would rain. After the rain stopped we were offered free drinks, too little too late. Poor public relations on your part.

A visit to Newport should include a harbor sail, and this excursion was a good option at a reasonable price.

Bring a hair tie and sunglasses

I went with my boyfriend to Newport that weekend for a birthday getaway. We both live and work in NYC, and thought it was a great time to get away, since the tennis championships were that weekend as well. The Adirondack II was probably the highlight of the weekend. Great sailing experience. Beautiful sunsets! Drinks (beer and champange) were $3 on board! There was a mix of age groups... from young couple like us..to families with their kids. We had dinner reservations at 9pm at The Moorings, and it was perfect cuase the dock area and the restaurant were very near by! Definately recommend the Sunset sail.

Totally enjoyed the Sail! It was great seeing Newport from the water. It was a beautiful breezy day and a great day for a sail on the bay!.
