The captain and crew kept the passengers on their toes (literally) as the extreme keeling was more than anticipated on a "tourist sail". Do not bring your 80 year old grandmother. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

My wife & I decided to take the cruise. It was on a weekday and nothing much was happening in Newport so there were a minimal amount of people on the cruise. That made it that much more personal between the passengers and the crew. They were excellent & knowledgeable.

The harbor cruise was lovely, being on a schooner was more thrilling than other cruises I've been on. The champagne ($3) was a nice touch. Only downside is that it would have been nice if the crew members pointed out more of the sights with a little background. Still, the view of the sunset was spectacular!

Our sail out had great staff aboard. Very pleasant and eager to answer questions. If you are locating for a guided tour this is not for you. If you are looking for peace this is for you. The persons aboard have the answers just ask your questions. The perfect ride ( wish I was out ALL day) for the family (parents, kids: ages 10, 12, 15... And grandpa too). Went on a 1:00pm ride. Will do another time in future with evening ride! The description on web is on "key".

Great romantic experience

Last year's experience was much better. The boat had a bell which the kids were permitted to ring, the trip went all over, and we saw all the mansions and had good commentary. Also, the mimosas were free last year. This year, perhaps due to the winds, we just went back and forth from the island house to the fort over and over and over.... no commentary initiated by the crew, no bell, no free mimosas, not even free juice for the kids. We probably will not do this again. Too bad.

Despite the fog the sail was great and the fog lifted and we had a wonderful time.

The price is a great value, the staff was friendly and hard working, the ride was smooth, the boat in great shape, the length of time was just right and the sunset was spectacular.

My dad was in town for his birthday and loves sailing. It turned out to be a perfect day, great weather, great crew, just a wonderful experience all around!
