Beautiful vessel, excellent crew.

I was especially impressed with the skipper, Andy, who is a great storyteller with an encyclopaedic knowledge of Newport harbor. The Adirondack is fast yet comfortable, and the crew was friendly and engaging. And the mimosas were $1. What more could you want?

My fiance and I have never been to Rhode Island before. We vacationed mid week- Weds- Sat. We took our boat trip on a Thurs. afternoon. The end of May to be exact. The price was very reasonable for what we got out of the event. The entire crew aboard were very friendly and very knowledgeable! The sights were great, we were offered beverages upon arrival- we were able to take as many pictures, videos as we wanted. Great day, great vacation! All in all I would recommend to anyone of any age!

We enjoyed it thoroughly.

We had a great sail. The weather was beautiful with the right amount of wind to fill the sails. The water was calm. There were only a few of us on the first sail of the season, so we had lots of room to enjoy our time on the water. The captain and crew were very knowledgable about the area and its history. The time passed by so quickly, it was hard to believe we were on board for an hour and a half. If we ever get back to RI, we would probably do it again.

This is the second time we've taken this cruise. Both were the best part of our visit to Newport!

This cruise was beautiful and informational. The guides were very knowledgeable about Newport and the sights they were pointing out. This was a fun and relaxing way to see Newport! Dress appropriately, the wind is a lot cooler on the water! I would reccomend this to everyone, of all ages!

The crew was very friendly. Cost for sodas, beer and wine was reasonable. The boat was in very good shape. The 3:00 trip for 90 minutes fit perfectly into our schedule.

Had a wonderful time on the bay. The price and length of the sail was just right for that kind of event. There was enough room for everybody and the overall ambiance was very relaxed. Thank you!

I enjoyed the ride. We had a beautiful day. The crew was friendly and told us great stories. I would reccommend that you make it a little longer, maybe two hours. It would be great to sail a little around the penninsula and hear about more houses/newport. I would reccommend this sail boat ride. Very enjoyable!

Great time, can't wait to set sail again!

The scene is gorgeous, the sail is invigorating, historical, beautiful and at the same time so peaceful. However the experience was really brought to life by the skipper and 2 crewmen. It was so much fun watching these 3 men so artfully and nearly effortlessly work the huge 4 sail boat. Their knowledge of the location is presented in such a way that it feels little like your standard tourist trap and so much more like a friendly conversation with a few spirited locals. I really didn't want to get off the boat when our sail was over. Can't wait to bring my husband and kids.

the harbor is magnificent

we loved even the misty evening and lack of sunset. We really appreciated the great long yellow slickers - nice to keep your bum dry when sitting. Being sailors, we enjoyed the big America's Cup sailboats expecially. I would suggest you make it very clear what beverages are included (only water?) and whether or not clients can bring snacks. This is our second sail with the Adirondack boats, our first was in New York City harbor. The sails are always too short. We'll be back next year!

it was a perfect way to spend Labor Day morning. The antithesis of the ordinary workdays to come ahead.

I brought a group of friends from Upstate NY on the Sunset Sail. Everyone had such a good time sharing stories and learning a bit about Newport history. The captain and his crew are commended for their efficiency, sailing skills, knowledge of the Newport Harbor and their humor! Don't miss out on an enjoyable venture. ; )

Beer for a buck but no mansions
Sun, Sep 6, 09   6:00 PM Danni67 Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
Wished we had gone by the mansions like it stated that we would have...that is my only disappointment..otherwise the crew were very curtious to us all. They would also make great bartenders along with their already being great sailors :)
