Trip was a little pricey for what we got. Would have been much nicer had we sailed a little more that just zig-zagging around the bay, maybe going under the bridge, or to the mouth of the ocean.. |

The Sunset Cruise provided by the Adirondack II left nothing to be desired. From a friendly crew and skipper to a beautiful August sunset in a gorgeous seaport, an experience not soon to be forgotten. The cost of the sail was extremely reasonable, and the charge for the drinks brought me back 35 years!
If a memorable sail cruise is what you are looking for, then your search can stop here! |

Was given these tickets as a gift from coworkers and enjoyed it tremendously. The weather was perfect, not even a light jacket was needed. As soon as the sails went up and we quietly glided along the shore line with the sun just getting ready to set, I could feel my blood pressure drop 30 degrees. It was an hour and a half of peaceful bliss. The crowd was pleasant and interacted with each other amicably. We were seated beside a couple who had just gotten married that day and across from a young couple from Austraila. I could have stayed there for hours. We'll definitely do this again when we return to Newport. |

We took our 6 yr. old son on the 5pm 'Dark & Stormy' Sail ride during a visit to Newport. It was worth every penny! The booking was easy, the people were extremely nice and knowledgeable and the ride was great. The team takes the time to answer questions about Newport history, gives you blankets and serves drinks, and really made it a fun treat. They even let our son stand behind the wheel for a bit to 'drive' the boat. We would definitely recommend this to others. Just remember to bring a jacket/sweatshirt as it gets very windy when you get out of the marina. |

We sailed on the beautiful schooner with our adult children visiting from Spain. The staff was very professional and informative. We enjoyed mimosas while relaxing in the sun and soft swells of the harbor. Have told my friends that we "locals" need to take advantage of this nice experience! |

My family and I highly recommend this sailing experience. We enjoyed the 5:00pm departure time, as the sunset was beautiful. The boat was very clean and the Captain and his staff were very knowledgeable about the area and history of Newport. The $1.00 drink prices are definitely very reasonable. This sail would be an enjoyable experience for all. We had a great time! |

My 25 year old daughter and I LOVED the Morning Mimosa Sail (no one actually had the $1 mimosa though). The captain & crew were great, knowledgable, engaging and helpful. The boat was comfortable, the sights magnificent and I would definitely go on again the next time I visit Newport. |

My wife and I enjoyed the trip. Not much wind, a little cloudy, but the weather was out of our hands. The sail was fun, very educational, very friendly staff and captain. Thank you again for a wonderful time.
My only wish is that a sail boat trip was available to permit a sail around the island to the Gilded Age mansions on the other side of the island (Bellevue Ave. mansions), but it appears that the sail tours all stay inside the harbor and bay. It would be neat if there could be a mansion tour sail to see the mansions near Easton Beach.
Thanks. |

It was our 18Th Wedding Anniversary we where celebrating and my wife said she would like to go out sailing and stated she wanted to do a sunset sail.
I found your ad on the the Internet and checked it out and looked at a few more in the Newport R.I. area and you took the grade.
We had a great time on our Sunset Sail on the Adirondack II it was great and you could see the crew enjoyed there jobs and they had a lot of knowledge about the area and the land scape of the area.
We have already told friend about going on a sunset sail on the Adirondack II and how we enjoyed ourselves and plan to Sail again with you.
Thank You for a Great Sail

Crew was very informative, pleasant and engaging. Everywhere you look there is an historic site in Newport and the crew pointed them out in a pleasant way, no shouting or blasting sound system. The "dark and stormy" coctails were great too!
We would definatly do this again...we had a beautifully warm, calm evening.... next time we'll be planning on a more blustery day! |

Thought we would be doing more sailing, getting up some speed, and be more exciting. It was a nice relaxing, touristy, guided tour of the harbor. Just not what I was looking for. Captain and staff were all great however. Drinks were priced very well. |
