I was on a trip by myself, and I've always wanted to go sailing. It was a relaxing trip on a great boat. I had a delisious mimosa and talked to some nice people and crew members. I would definitely recommend it!

Pros: Nice people. Good activity. Friendly service. Relaxing. Cons: 'Tour/Route' is not that interesting; narration is decent but not enough to talk about. Charged $2 per mimosa when the sales literature advertises $1.

Highly recommend to locals as well as visitors. It is a wonderful and fun way to spend an afternoon in Newport.

I'm almost tempted to write a bad review so this cruise never gets too crowded.....but i cant...it was awesome....after a long day of walking touring and driving...this cruise was REFRESHING and fun.....but....the BEST part was having this deck hand bring me beers at two bucks a shot....sam adams yet......the boa'ts captain a young woman ...very professional.....was very informative!!!...What a deal for the price.....I was actually sad it had to go back to the pier....Im going back

Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Ship was comfortable and in impressive condition. See Newport the way it should be seen, by sailing a schooner.

Everything was exactly as advertised and added to a wonderful day in Newport. The boat was clean and in great shape, the crew was knowledgable and hospitable, and the drinks were very refreshing and just the right price!

This was a first for my wife and two adult (24 & 21 year old) daughters, where we had never been on a sail boat before. It was a great time, as stated above, the Captain and Crew were great, the overall group of people on the cruise were very nice and the weather and sunset couldn't have been better. I would and have already recommended this cruise to others, great job...!

Cruise was fun and informative. Captain and crew were engaging and humorous. even though they said not to wear black sole'd shoes, didn't seam to matter, where as several people had them on and there were no concerns. Might want to think about removing that line from "what not to wear"

the harbor tour was really fun and informative, even for a local. my boyfriend was visiting RI for the first time and it was a great way for him to see newport from the water. thanks!

We were able to sail when the count reached 7, basically had the schooner to ourselves. The Captain asked who wanted to steer and my wife ( it was her birthday) took the helm, never seen her in such a natural setting as behind that wheel. As well as I stepped up and took over. Delightful. Two thumbs up enthusiastically.

... your looking for a fairly tame sailing adventure on a larger ship with an very attentive crew, excellent facilities and refreshments I would highly recommend the Adirondack II. If your looking for more of an adventure were your nearly in the water a smaller vessel may be more to your liking.

Since my husband and I both love to sail we decided to do the morning sailing excursion on the Aiderondack II. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed the trip. The captain and crew were very friendly, professional and entertaining and were very informative about the local history of Newport. Definitely a to do list when visiting Newport.
