The Captain and crew were great. No need to travel with a large group, the captain provides plenty of entertainment! Very knowlegable and informative throughout the sail. Our Sail was mostly under motor (no wind) but that didn't take away from the experience one bit. Enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to anyone and would take it again on the next visit.

The crew was very pleasant. A nice and calming night...

Went out on the Sunset Sail and it was worth every penny spent not to mention Drinks were only a $1 each!! Was very nice to go out on a boat (since we don't own one) and come back relaxed and be within walking distance of many places to eat. Only downside was you had to basically force information about the surrounding area out of the captain by asking him question of what certain things were. But regardless of that, we had a great time. A must when in Newport!!

Captian Chris did a wonderful job of sailing, describing the scenery, and letting the kids take the helm (he was right there so no danger) and giving them, and their parents, a big thrill. The crew was very attentive and did a great job. This was my third trip this summer....I always take visitors on the Schooner Adriondack II, and we have recommended it to many others. It's a great time!!

We had a lovely experience on the sunset sail. The crew was exceptionally friendly and informed. The sail was on time, and the perfect amount of time. The drinks were affordable. I wish I could have seen more of the landscape, but with only 90 minutes I was very pleased. I would definitely recommend to friends and go again. Thank you.

My mom gave me this cruise as a birthday present. My boyfriend and I took an evening cruise the end of August. It was sprinkling a little on the night we went, but the crew gave us foul weather gear and as we headed out, the rain stopped. The captain cut the engines as we coasted through the harbor. We had a beautiful sunset and took plenty of pictures to prove it! It was very, VERY relaxing. We even joked that if we had an extra $500, we would have asked them to take just the 2 of us back out- no questions asked. The crew was really nice and personable- there were about 6 other people in addition to my boyfriend and I. They were attentive and even gave some of the children on board lessons in knot tying, which kept them occupied (thankfully!). It was such a wonderful, relaxing evening. We are planning to go again next year. It was wonderful!!!!! Thanks so much to the crew for making it a fabulous evening- we needed it!!!

We actually sailed on the Adirondack II twice, we enjoyed it so much! The day sail offered more wind, sun, and heeling......very exciting. However, the sunset sail offered a more leisurely sail with spectacular colors. We ended up with some great sunset photos! Overall, a great time.....highly recommended.

The sunset sail was wonderful, my wife had never been on a sailboat before and we both love sunsets - so figured it would be fun, but we were amazed by how beautiful the boat and scenary were. Also - the crew members were so knowledge and answered all our questions. I highly recommend this activity!

We're locals; this is the first time we've taken visiting friends out on a sunset sail. It was well worth it-- and we especially enjoyed chatting with the crew. Grateful for their local knowledge and their dinner recommendations! Will definitely be back.

I thought that the cruise was fun, however I was disappointed in the fact that I thought that we would see more of Newport instead of just crusing around the bay...for examply, go under the bridge...see the mansions...but overall it was nice, a bit pricey though for what you got!

The weather was great and the crew friendly and knowledgeable. Who could ask for anything more?

This boating experience was absolutely wonderful. It was perfect weather and a great sail. It did get a bit chilly so I would recommend a sweater or blanket. I also brought along pizza as a "picnic"- totally suggest that as well! It's a really beautiful ride as you pass by the bridge. Completely breathtaking! Doesn't necessarily have to be a date, you could definitely go with a group of friends

This was a wonderful experience. The captain and his deck hands were very friendly and knowledgeable. The scenery was amazing. The captain mentioned that he was leaving in October to take the boat to Key West. My husband and I are planning a trip to the Keys and will defiinetely look for him to sail again with him. I would recommend this to anyone who is planning on doing this.

The trip lasts for approx 1-1/5 hours. We sailed out but the winds died down and had to motor back in. However, it was a lovely trip and the crew is very personable. We would definitely recommend the trip.
