Sailing takes me away!

| Following a busy all-day meeting, it was great to unwind with coworkers aboard the Adirondack II. We had a small group of 6, but it was clear this would be a great outing for a couple, a family, or work associates. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable, and I would definitely book another trip for this type of work outing. | ||||||

| We went on a 2pm cruise on Saturday, 9-8-07. It was windy but sunny and warm. It was a very smooth sailing and I wasn't nervous at all. The sailboat did tilt but it was a lot of fun and you didn't get wet except for a little splash of droplets a couple of times. The sailboat had about 15 people on board and it was a very nice crowd, with people of all ages. You could join the crowd or be alone if you wished. They served wine, beer, soda and complimentary water. The drinks were $1.00. It just was a beautiful and fun experience with a wonderful, friendly and informative crew and captain. GO--You'll love it!!! | ||||||

| We had a great time on the 9-6 sunset sail. Staff was great! Drinks were offered at $1 each. Weather was perfect. We sailed under the bridge - wonderful photo op.(not by the Mansions). If you are looking for a fully narrated tour, this is not for you. If you want to enjoy sailing with a great crew and friends, sign up. | ||||||

| The point of a sunset cruise is to see a sunset - the boat did not leave the dock until after the sun had set. It was absolutely horrible and not worth $38 per person. There was not even someone to tell us what we were looking at - albeit in the dark. The boat was also too crowded. It was dark, cold, and a complete waste of time and money. | ||||||

| The only issue was a crying child and some annoying guests but that is not under your control. Other than that - the crew was awesome and attentive. Really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend. | ||||||

| What a delightful way to spend a 95 degree day. We were so comfortable on board: The winds were perfect, the water was beautiful and the crew was so friendly. Thanks for such a lovely time! This is a great activity for all ages. Seniors needed to have assistance boarding but the crew was right there with an arm extended. Definitely family friendly. | ||||||

| Captain was very accomodating. Didn't have much wind so he motored out and toured the sites until he caught a good breeze in the open bay. Would recommend this cruize to anyone. Boat ride was very smooth even in 2 ft swells. Great expereience, will do it again on our next trip to RI. | ||||||

| We very much enjoyed our sail - it was suitable for us all, even though we cover three generations. Weather was beautiful, a little too calm which made the sailing somewhat tame - a wind would have been nice! Great views from the yacht and wonderful to see Newport from the ocean. Would highly recommend it. | ||||||

| I took my girlfriend on the sunset cruise as a sort of end of summer thing to do. We both really enjoyed ourselves. The crew was very friendly and personable. Some of the crewmates even went out of their way to make conversation and were very pleasent. It was a bit of a chilly night, however, they offered us blankets which was nice. The views are amazing. I highly recommend this to any couple or family for that matter. | ||||||

| the people for the boat were very helpful - since my original cruise was cancelled they allowed us to go the next day - the people were nice - however not due to their fault the weather could have been a lot better | ||||||

| As a tourist I would have liked to have an introduction to the area and the places that we saw on the sail. The staff was polite and knowledgable when asked, but were not forthcoming with any interesting information about Newport or sailing that gave the trip any educational value. | ||||||

| Captain was knowlegable and crew friendly and hard working. The boat is beautiful and kept clean. The only disturbing part of an otherwise relaxing sail was a group of 11 that made way too much noise. It made it hard for us to hear the captain tell about the boat, Newport and its attractions. Maybe groups that large should have to charter a private sail? | ||||||
