My wife and I spent the day of our anniversary in Newport and decided to try an afternoon harbor cruise on the Adirondack II. The weather was perfect for a schooner cruise, the crew was extremely accommodating, and we had a very congenial group of people on board from various parts of the country. We loved the experience, and topped it off with a wonderful dinner at Scales and Shells.

was a gorgeous day to be out on the bay - the only recommendation i would make is to have the captain give more information about the sites in the bay. the girls were very informative when asked questions but many sites should be discussed without people asking.

I live in RI and make it a point to take the drive to Newport to sail on the Adirondack II at least once each summer. It is always a relaxing and wonderful trip. This year was the morning Mimosa Cruise and it was a stellar day with a great breeze (makes the sail even better) and a morning mimosa. I easily could have spent the day on that boat. As always, I left looking forward to the next sail.

Speakers or headphones to hear general comments about the environs would be helpful..

My husband, 21 year old daughter and I, had a beautiful trip, I was afraid it was going to be too windy, but it was perfect! Our captain and crew were very informative and pleasant. It was not at maximum capacity, which made it nice to be able to move around a bit. A hour and a half was a nice ride, but that afternoon, we could have stayed out all day!!! I highly recommend this little trip to anyone who likes to be on the water. The price was reasonable and the drinks were as well. I would definitely do it again.

Great crew - 3 delightful young women with great service and attention to all of the guests on board. This was a relaxing and fun cruise and I would recommend it to locals and tourist. The crew was informative, funny and very enjoyable. Booking on line was very easy and efficient. Great website

This was my second sunset sail and will not be my last. We had a perfect evening weather wise and the sunset was breathtaking!

Two couples just looking for a loving evening under a beautiful full moon and the night turned out more than one could possibly hope!!! The crew was very knowledgeable and girls did well at handling the sails as well as serving drinks to the visitors!!! We saw the sunset and the full moon on a calm ocean and the smell of the salt air!! How great is life. This 8 foot Sail boat is a must if in Newport!!!!! AdirondackII was a HIT

Our group of 4 had a great time. The day was clear and beautiful and the sailing was superb! There was a nice wind so we were under sail the whole time. The 1 1/2 hours went by so quickly. The captain and crew (all women) were very competent, friendly and knowledgeable. It was the second time that I went on this sailing excursion and would do it again soon.

I absolutely enjoyed the sail with Leslie and her all girl crew! Girl Power! Drinks are $2--can't beat that!
