great crew & captain

| Captain was knowlegable and crew friendly and hard working. The boat is beautiful and kept clean. The only disturbing part of an otherwise relaxing sail was a group of 11 that made way too much noise. It made it hard for us to hear the captain tell about the boat, Newport and its attractions. Maybe groups that large should have to charter a private sail? | ||||||

| We departed for the sunset cruise in July 2007. The sailboat holds about 60 people. There was one group of about 25. They were very load and had clearly been drinking prior to boarding. They were all drinking. One guy was taking off his shirt to the amusement of the others in the group while others would shout things like "BOOZE CRUISE", etc. The staff was professional but they did not discuss any of the sights. The load group probably spoiled it for the rest aboard. | ||||||

| The entire sailing experience, from boarding to docking, was simply beautiful. We were fortunate enough to be able to view not only the masive mansions and their lush gardens, but also the towering masts of the Tall Ships sailing by! The crew was friendly, imformative and very entertaining! We have visited Newport many times prior to our most recent trip without ever getting on the water. In the future, we won't leave Newport without going sailing! | ||||||

| The crew was very friendly. Cost for sodas, beer and wine was reasonable. The boat was in very good shape. The 3:00 trip for 90 minutes fit perfectly into our schedule. | ||||||

| The boat was beautiful and the crew was delightful. My complaint is something that is out of their control, but the fog set in during our 1.5 hours, and we couldn't see much while we were sailing. Apparently they will sail under any conditions, except a lightning storm and heavy rain. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed this trip, even if there was no sunset or wind we had a nice time, the captain was very funny and explained very well what we were watching and all that. I totally recommend this sailing trip. | ||||||

| It was my 25th wedding anniversary and I surprised my wife with the sail. She loved it and the Captain and crew were very helpful and knowledgeable. I enjoyed it and maybe go on my 26th. | ||||||

| As far as the boat and crew I was very happy but I wasn't happy with the fact that there was a roudy bunch of adults that came on board at the last minute and were loud during the whole cruse. You could tell they had been drinking and kept drinking while on board, they were so loud you would have thought they were the only ones on the ship. My family and I were uncomfortable and I don't know if we would take another curse. | ||||||

| The crew was knowlegeable, friendly and fun to be around. The ship is safe as can be and takes to the sea just fine. There's nothing like being on the water in Newport. Don't visit the town without sailing Narragansett Bay. It would have been good to do a harbor burn (where you sail in and out of the mooring field in the inner harbor) but perhaps that's asking a bit much. Overall, it's worthy. | ||||||

| We great weather and that certainly helped. The boat was beautifully appointed and spacious. The crew was delightful, attentive and pleasant. Captain Andy was knowledgeable and confident. This was a splendid outing and great way to get to know the town of Newport. | ||||||

| My first time on any sailboat was aboard the Adirondack II. The crew was friendly, the boat was comfortable, and the dollar drinks were great. I was let down by the fact we did not do more sailing. We sailed out and watched the sunset, but after the sunset, the engine was turned on and we motored back to the dock. It would have been great if we had sailed under the Newport bridge or even sailed a little faster. | ||||||
