Santa Cruz Day Sail on Monterey Bay

The trip was amazing! The boat was clean and classy and well operated, and the crew were so kind and knowledgeable! We can't wait to go again!

I highly recommend this activity for the whole family. The crew is super friendly, timely and well organized. The catamaran is really smooth and it is a joy for the kids to see how it all works. We had kids on board from 11 to 7 mos. in age and they all loved it!

We went on a late Saturday afternoon for the 90 minute cruise. In additon to the sail along the Boardwalk and pier, we headed out into the bay for awhile and then returned following the coast. During this time, the captain slowed or stopped several times so we could watch the seals jumping out of the water within 50 feet of us as well as numerous sea otters floating on the surface as we went by.

i loved it but just wish it was a little longer and they could have pointed out where we were. like location and where the surf spots were and what animals were in the water around us.

I go once a year, get my fix for the ocean! I used to race hobbi cats in the 70's. I gave a donation for the classes on the boat, I think it is wonderful that you do that and teach the children to respect and protect our lovely BAY!! Thank you and keep up the good work!! I am a native Santa Cruzan! I took all my grandkids on there, they loved it and they are from Kentucky:))

This is the second time I have been on this lovley boat!! I would go every day if I could. Last year I took my grandkids and they LOVED it!! Highly recommend.

I have lived in Santa Cruz for over 20 years and have never been out on the Ocean thinking I would get sea sick. O'Neill Yacht Charter was awesome! A Saturday afternnoon sail. No fog, was gorgeous looking at the boardwalk from the sea and seeing tons of people on the beaches. What a treat. The charter was only 1hr and I wish we could have been out there for 3! The crew where top notch and the charter was very stable and nice on the sea. The best of it all it was only $20.00 Now that I tried it out I will go out again and do one of their 1.5hour charters and hopefully O'Neill's will do more charters during the week (Wed Night races!!) Go for it!

Thus was our second sailboat trip on the O'Neill with a group. We loved it do much we made this our pre wedding event to get a few friends together the day before our big day. We love it much better than the Chardonnay because it's affordable for all and the boat is spacious.

We really enjoyed our time on the O'Neill and felt it was well worth the $20. A great opportunity to get out on the bay and enjoy.
