The Afternoon Dolphin Cruise is highly recommended. Although we only saw a few Dolphins, it was a beautiful outing. A beautiful relaxing experience.

Okay, but very dissapointed

This is definitely not a ride for children. I took my 2 5 year old girls and there is really no railings only tiny wires preveting you from falling off the boat, they were extremely bored. We left the dock and went out towards Fort Sumter, the ride was nothing more than going back and forth a few times. Although the captain was extremely bland the rest of the crew was friendly and nice. We finally saw some dolphins on the way back, unfortunately they were extremely far away. I feel it was extremely over priced for the trip we received, may be better for an older couple?

This was actually our second cruise so that in itself speaks to how much we enjoyed the lst trip and now the 2nd trip. Staff was very courteous and helpful and I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to see Charleston from a different view.

Had a wonderful afternoon sail aboard the Pride. The boat was clean and uncrowded, the crew was friendly and informative, and the sights were fantastic! The kids were able to help raise and lower the sails and even had a chance to steer the boat. Everyone agreed it was a wonderful and unique experience!

AFTERNOON SAIL RENEWED OUR SPIRITS!

When the temperature in Charleston, SC was hovering around 100F. degrees, this idyllic two-hour sail in the Charleston Harbor was a welcomed relief and it was also educational for my 9-yr. old granddaughter who had never seen Charleston from the water. The 3-person crew was professional, positive, informative, and happy! The 3 incrediblly large sails were furled and unfurled with care and the crew provided seamless service to each of us on the sail. What a wonderful way to spend a hot afternoon! We were just COOL!

We were fortunate to have a brisk breeze on a hot July afternoon. Wonderful views of Fort Sumter from the water. The boat was crowded - not a lot of extra space to sit down or move around.

wonderful day on the water

We have lived in the Charleston area for three years and have been wanting to sail on the Schooner Pride ever since the first time we saw it in the harbor so I bought tickets for my husband and daughter and myself to go on Father's Day and we had such a wonderful time on our tour. The captain and crew were fantastic and answered any questions that we had about the boat or the landmarks that we were passing and the cool breeze on the water was a welcome relief from the sweltering afternoon heat. We were a little concerned that one of us may suffer from seasickness but the Pride is amazingly stable and barely rocks at all so were very happy about how smooth the boat glides over the water. Our family had an excellent experience and can not wait to do it again with some of our other family and friends. We do not have enough words to express how peaceful and calming the experience was for all of us and my husband told me later that evening that there is no way I will be able to top this gift for any future Father's Days.
