the ride was pretty neat - we had a good time. the only complaint would be the guy serving drinks only came to us once and never returned my change (I had to go up to him and ask for it back). very relaxing, though and different

A wonderfully relaxing afternoon in Charleston

In 32 years of going to Charleston almost annually, we have been on many, many harbor tours, but never a sailboat adventure. So, we decided to do something different this year. Boy, were we ever happy to have made that decision. The day was perfect, the boat was great, the crew and captain were friendly, knowledgeable and informative. There is no doubt in my mind that the next time we go to Charleston, we will do this again. Hands down, it beat any other harbor experience we have ever had.

As my family lives in Charleston, I have been there many times; however, this was my first schooner cruise there. It was wonderful. The time on water was lovely. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. They kindly waited for a couple who were running late (but did not arrive) and then added those fifteen minutes onto the cruise.

It was a very enjoyable daytime sail. Quiet and peaceful. The crew was very friendly (but not overly so) and knowledgeable.

My husband and I sailed on the Schooner Pride Monday, July 20., 2009. We both enjoyed every minute of the trip and would do it again if ever in the Charleston area.

We really enjoyed sailing around Charleston Harbor, seeing the sights while skimming across the water. The weather was perfect -- sunny with a strong breeze. The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable, answering our questions about Charleston and the sights we were seeing.

The sail was wonderful! The deckhands and Captain were fabulous. The cruise was well worth the ticket price and the scenery was breathtaking. The captain was kind and friendly toward all the children, allowing them a turn at the wheel. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice afternoon in Charleston.

My husband and I went on this sail when we were staying in Charleston for a long weekend. The crew was very polite, knowledgeable and had energy to spare. They answered all questions and even came up with stories of past sailings to entertain us. I would recommend anyone going on this cruise. It is a bargain for the money.

Not much of a sail

Fairly boring as sails go. Although there was wind, the crew didn't seem too interested in making this a fun sail.
