Enjoyable, scenic outing

My husband and I enjoyed the afternoon sail on the Schooner Pride. It was comfortable, relaxing, and a nice way to get out on the water. The crew involved some volunteers to help put up the sails which was nice. We would have liked a little narration on where we were going and what we were seeing, but they did try to answer questions when asked. I'd recommend this excursion to couples and families.

A Great Afternoon "At Sea"

I suppose the first thing out of the gate would be to say that we had a great time, I, of course, as the wannabe sailor, had the best time, but my wife liked being on the boat, seeing the pelicans and dolphins, and, of course, the beer. The Pride boasts, among her other amenaties, a cash bar. My sister also had a good time, enjoying seeing the city from a new perspective, as she'd never been on a harbor tour either. Our crew was friendly and competent. Given a choice, I would have preferred a narrated tour, but there was no script. Mostly we cruised the harbor. When there was something of particular interest, such as the dolphins, or Fort Sumpter, or Castle Pickney, the worlds most frustrated fort, they would point it out. They were also very responsive to questions. But I think that a narrated tour would have been more fun. I did learn something. If I opt for a radical career change, crewing a tall ship means spending at least half your time as a waiter. The Pride has a well-stocked cooler of domestic and imported beers, a small selection of wines and sodas, and plenty of water, so thirst was no problem. And the crew remained gracious, no matter how many times K and I sent them back down the hatch for more beer. Regards, Bill

This is a great trip. The crew is excellent and it is everything you hope for it to be. They were generous with information, helping to take pictures, answering questions, and leaving the group alone. Great professionalism. Even the prices on their drinks (we had cokes, etc and pretzels) were not outlandish. We sailed on time and got home on time. Plan to do this again.

hi.....I enjoyed in this tour but it is costly compare to other similer tours. Other narrated tours can be taken at the half cost. Crews was good and helpful. Actual time on water is mentioned 2 hours but actually its 1.25 hours.

The crew was excellent! They were courteous, helpful and friendly. The trip was peaceful and beautiful even though we were unable to find a wind in the harbor. We enjoyed the experience very much.

Rip off - Tourist Trap

No value for the money. Boat left 20 minutes late for just a little kiddie ride around the harbor. I thought this was a joke. Old boat was not impressive, neither was the crew (except the woman Angela who seemed to have been the only hard worker and knew what needed to be done). Captain had the nerve to ask for tips for his crew. I found this insulting, especially since I felt I'd I already overpaid for what I got plus $1.75 for a tiny water bottle. There are definitely better rides on better boats for less money - next time.

Great sail, even without much wind. Harbor Fest and the tall ships at dock made it even better!
