Everything was lovely, despite the fact that there was NO MOON...because moonrise was later than sailing time! It waould add a lot to have food available especially for sailing from having top be there 7 to 9:30., but enjoyed the sandwiches we brought...should have gotten more elegant food! Crew was good, music was good. Would recommend. |

Once a month, there is a full moon cruise. My friend and I found the cruise relaxing and lovely. Seeing the harbor by the light of the moon is unique. The crew was knowledgeable and supportive. I would suggest that anyone who wants to be on the cruise confirm the sailing time with the captain. We would do the tour again. |

We took the moonlite tour and absolutely had a wonderful time. Enjoyed the live acoustic music and the romantic setting. Great way to be with someone you love ( for 32 years). |

We had a lovely time on the moonlight cruise. The Captain looked as if he's sailed the seven seas (and he really has, though not under sail), and the crew were efficient and helpful. The entertainment was a couple of young people playing guitar and ukelele and singing appropriately mellow songs. Of course the "blue" moon was the highlight of the night and it didn't disappoint. |

This is the 5th time my wife and i have sailed with the Schooner crew. This is a fantastic adventure that is very relaxing. We actually for the last few years scheduled our vacation to ensure we have a full moon to participate in this adventure. The crew is great and make you feel at home. They made such an impression that i actually rmembered most from last year. Not much wind on this sail but was still very enjoyable. Current plan is to include this in next years visit as well. I think my only negative comment was the entertainment. You have a full moon, a beautiful harbor, and a fantastic crew. For this cruise i do not think entertaiment is needed although i would have to say a soft mellow jazz sound would add to the experience. Hats off to the crew for an incredible experience. Our favorite adventure in Charleston. Highly recommended. |

What a wonderful way to relax! We went on Aug 31, not only a full moon but a blue moon! Beautiful breezes, clear night, so peaceful and relaxing. Or at least it would have been if a group of 4 inconsiderate people on board hadn't drank to excess and got louder and louder and more obnoxious as the night went on, but that's not the Schooner Pride's fault. We would recommend this trip to anyone! |

This was a fantastic evening. The crew was fantastic. Was not the best night for sailing as the wind died but the crew still made the evening incredible. At one point the captain even brought out the ukulele and sang. True, he was not the best singer but it made the cruise even more unforgettable. This is what vacations are meant for, relaxing , having fun and forgetting reality for a wonderful couple of hours. This trip was more than expected and if prompted with questions the crew was quick to sit down , chat and answer any and all questions. Our first mate was a delightful young lady who had cruised for several years and was a true jewel and a definite asset to our adventure and the city of Charleston. I would highly recommend this adventure to anyone who wants and needs to relax in a great environment with a wonderful crew. pros: awesome for relaxing. cons: too short. My wife and I were visiting for 6 days and this was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Charleston. Relax and enjoy an incredible evening when stepping on board. This is a true example of southern hospitality. Will plan next trip to Charleston around full moon to relive this experience. |

My husband and I chose to just sit on deck and enjoy the moonlight, warm weather, light breezes, and calm seas. Our reverie was further complimented by the strumming of a guitar played by the on board entertainer. We had 2 glasses of complimentary wine to sip and had some light snacks we brought with us. This is definitely something adults would appreciate far more than children. The late night sail (beginning at 9 p.m.) was two hours, and there wasn't much to do other than relax and and enjoy the venue, which was our goal. We liked it so much, we hope to do this again soon. Next time, we'll bring cushions/blankets to sit on. This activity was well worth the money! |

My husband and I have enjoyed sailing with the Schooner Pride for many years. It's a must when we have company, but actually we just use this as an excuse to enjoy a sail on the Pride any time of day.
Under the stars, watching the moon rise with champagne in hand and the warm wind blowing against your face is very romantic. The sails were full, and uninterrupted by the sounds and smell of a motor, we quietly scooted along enjoying the lights of the homes on the Battery, the beautiful Ravenel Bridge and the other boaters.
We highly recommend this outing to all - local or visitors. |
