The Schooner Pride, is an 84-foot, three-mast schooner modeled after the classic coastal trading schooners. She is an authentic tall ship and possesses all the character and class of a ship designed during the great days of sail. She is USCG certified to hold up to 49 passengers.
We aim to make your experience of sailing aboard the Pride as enjoyable and thrilling as it is for us. Our captain and experienced and friendly crew are more than willing to do whatever they can to ensure that your sailing experience with us is a pleasurable and relaxing one.

Activity Description
Watch a gorgeous Charleston sunset while enjoying this two hour sail aboard the Schooner Pride. Sit back and relax on deck while the sun drops slowly towards the horizon, illuminating the countless steeples of the Holy City.
Discover the tranquility of cruising the historic Charleston Harbor on a genuine tall ship, powered only by the wind in our sails.
On this 2 hour sail, you will:
- See the four forts of Charleston Harbor including the famous Fort Sumter, which helped shape our nation’s history,
- Experience the more natural side of the city, with occasional sightings of dolphins, pelicans, and other fauna natural to the harbor,
- Gain a new perspective on the historic 18th and 19th century buildings of Charleston,
- Marvel at the retiring sun lighting up the sky in a kaleidoscope of colors over one of the oldest cities in the country.
Bottled water, soft drinks, beer (domestic and imported), and wine will be available for purchase for your enjoyment during the sail. Although we do not serve food on board, we also welcome you to bring your own snacks to munch on. After a leisurely 2 hour sail around the harbor, you will set foot on land refreshed and relaxed.
What Is Not Included?
Food and beverages are not included in the price of the sail. However, bottled water, soft drinks, wine, and both imported and domestic beer are available for purchase. Prices range from $1.50 to $5.00, so be sure to bring extra cash.
