Sailing on the Pride lets you tour the harbor while enjoying the experience of being on a real sailing vessel. It really fits in with the historical character of Charleston much better than the regular harbor tour boats. We had beautiful weather and it truly felt like we were riding the wind. I would especially recommend the sunset cruise. Our only complaint was that there was no one to tell us about the sights we were seeing and, while the brochure advertises that passengers may help sail the vessel, we were not offered this opportunity. Still, it was a wonderful experience; just hold on to your hats and enjoy the ride! |

I can not honestly suggest any thing that would improve your product. When we got off we were discussing other friends we would like to attend with us on future trips. |

We had scheduled the 1 pm tour. We decided to walk from our hotel. We walked more than 10 blocks to get there only to discover that our trip had been canceled. There were not enough people scheduled. We rescheduled for the next evening at 5:30. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that there was a possibility of cancellation. After the initial difficulty, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Sunset was gorgeous. |

The crew and the schooner were great! There was plenty of wind and the temperature was perfect. The sunset was spectacular. Just wish we could have sailed further out than the tip of the peninsula. We tached back and forth from the Cooper River Bridge to Castle Pinckney. |

I travel to Charleston several times a year. I know the area very well but this was the first time on the harbor. My wife travelled with me on this trip and we thought this would be a great evening event. WE WERE RIGHT.
This was our first time sailing and the Pride was large enough not to be tossed around on the water. The views from the harbor gave a whole new perspective to the beauty of Charleston. I think the best part was going under the Ravenal Bridge at sundown. The sky turned the most vibrant colors and the pictures we got of the rigging, bridge, moon and stars are amazing.
You will see more of the harbor if you take a power boat, but we were the envy of those on the powered boats based on the number of pictures they were taking of us. Highly Reccomend going on the PRIDE. |

Our family enjoyed the sail. Being on the boat was a real thrill !! I let them know ahead of time we were sailing as a birthday wish of my daughers. I wish they would have acknowledged her and her birthday. The crew was friendly. They answered questions when they were asked - however, no information was offered. Two of the crew took personal calls on their cell phones while we were on the water. They spent a great deal of time talking among themselves - maybe they should spend a little more time showing guests the boat, etc.
I would recommed the sail - the boat. The crew - I would like to have a little more interaction with guests. |
