Great views in a very relaxed setting. Under sail makes for a more romantic experience as you don't have to hear the growl of engines as you watch the sunset on the harbor. Highly recommended.

My husband and I were in Charleston celebrating 41 years of marriage. The sunset cruise which also included sailing back with a full moon rising was terrific! A perect end of a perfect weekend.

The sail was a lot of fun and quite scenic. Charleston Harbor and the city skyline are lovely, and the sunset was a nice finale. I wish someone warned us about the skeeters, though. While walking to the ship, we were literally attacked by dozens of the ornery little blood suckers. Once the ship started moving, it wasn't an issue, but we spent much of the two hours trying hard not to scratch the huge welts. Bring spray and wear long sleeves and pants! And bring your camera...

This sunset cruise was very dissapointing. We originally were told that the cruise was at 6pm. When we arrived at the dock at about 5pm there was a sign saying it was at 6:30pm. Thinking we had an extra 30 minutes we came back at 6pm and they were ready to sail. However, being some of the last people on the boat we had a difficult time finding a place to sit. It was way too crowded. The staff was not too engaging. There was no music playing. Far from the romantic sunset cruise we were planning.

This was great! ordered the tickets and paid for them on line and all we had to do was show up and our names were on the list. Get aboard and sail! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, we enjoyed this very much and would highly recommend it to all our friends traveling to Charleston!

The Pride sailed through Charleston Harbor majestically with sails raised in the wind. It was a wonderful ride - warm gentle breezes, the smell of the sea, sailboats around us, quiet conversations with our loved ones and new found acquaintances from other areas- reflecting on the beauty of the city....... The sunset was beautiful! What a great way to celebrate our anniversary.

I was able to meet my adult son for dinner in Charleston in early Sept. He lives in Houston and I live in Ky. I was in South Carolina for a vacation and he came to Charleston on business. We decided to do something a bit different and heard about the sunset cruise from a brochure at his hotel, the Mills House. We had an outstanding time. I had never been on any sail boat. This 4 mast schooner was perfect. The ride was smooth and the crew skilled and accomodating. The lighting was perfect and the sailing was too. It was so peaceful in the harbor with the sunset and quiet sailing - just the flapping of the sails. It was a great trip to enjoy with my son. I would recommend this trip.

The cruise was great. My wife and I were looking for something romatic to do before we went out to dinner and it was perfect. They sold beer and wine on the sail boat and it was a great way to relax and enjoy the evening. The crew was great and offered lots of great information about the history of the harbour without sounding like a guided tour. They had answers to questions if you asked, but didn't talk the whole time about stuff. Very cool, very relaxing, the sunset was beautiful, I would definately recommend it!

It was thoroughly enjoyable. The crew was very friendly and helpful and it helps the sailing when there is a good wind but not windy. It was perfect. Looking forward to doing it again.

Participated in the sunset sail - not a historical tour, just relaxing sailing cruise, although crew members were more than happy to answer any historical/local area related questions guests asked. If you would like to hear music while you cruise, sit towards rear of schooner, as what was played could not be heard @ front half. Was not even aware any was being played until late in cruise & did miss that part of the 'relaxation' from my vantage point, but views were beautiful, & all crew members provided excellent service w/ smiles & much courtesy. Would board again in the future.
