We had a blast!

The weather for our sail was threatening and most of the passengers were wary of setting sail under dark gloomy skies. The captain and crew assured us the radar indicated it was safe to sail and we should not experience any rain. They were right and we enjoyed a two hour uneventful cruise. We saw dolphins and enjoyed the view of Charleston from the water. The only thing that would have made the trip better is if there had been some sort of narration during the trip. We were not given any sort of map or information indentifying our course or what we were looking at from the boat. With the rich naval history in Charleston, there is so much to learn about and this would have been a good opportunity to pick up some interesting tidbits of information. If it is impractical to hire a "tour guide" for the cruise, headsets like the ones available in art museums would be a reasonable alternative.

We are a french couple, and we were very enthusiastic with the Sunset Sail. It was beautiful, we have seen dolphins, birds, and a beautiful sunset. I recommend this sunset to you. If you like taking pictures, this sunset sail is for you.

We had a very nice trip. The weather was great, except not much wind. So the sailing was slow. But that made it more relaxing. The sunset was perfect.

We are a husband & wife celebrating our sixth wedding anniversary. We came from Houston, Texas and were looking for an experience we couldn't get at home. It was a great chance to get away from the kids! We really enjoyed spending the time together and learning about some of the local history. We had a great time and will tell anyone they MUST take a tour! The Fruge`s

Sunset Sail was fantastic

My 5 yr. old grandson got the steer and help with the sails. It made a lasting impression! The crew was fantastic - offered assistance to anyone who needed it - very knowledgeable - very patient. The 2 hour event was perfectly timed - not too short not too long. I can't wait to bring other family members to Schooner Pride.

Relaxing trip. Nice opportunity to enjoy a ship with sails. Crew was very helpful and answered every question, but narration would improved the trip so we knew what we were looking at!

Very disappointed

Looking forward to the sunset sail,my wife and I were very disappointed. There was very little wind and at no time were we close enough to see any of the sites except for long distances. While I realize it was suppose to be a "sailing adventure" they could have used the motor to get us a bit closer to the Yorktown, Fort Sumpter etc. and then cut off the motors. Not close to being worth the money.

NEED BETTER SIGNAGE - WAS ALMOST LATE BECAUSE COULD NOT FIND - LOTS OF SIGNAGE FOR OTHER CRUISES BUT NOTHING FOR THIS UNTIL YOU ARE THERE. The cruise was very pretty, but would be better if there were some history or more interraction by the crew, although the crew was v ery friendly. Your advertising gives the impressession there will be narration as to the area we are seeing and that we will get near Fort Sumter. We did not even get close to Fort Sumter. Probably will not do this again.

Not worth your time.

Tour was not what I expected. The staff did not talk much about what we were seeing unless you specifically asked them about it. I expected something a little more interactive or just something to make it worth the money. We sailed a few thousand yards out and pretty much just drifted out there until they started the engine to bring us back in. The sunset was nice and staff were friendly but I would not recommend it.
